Gammon's HVAC/R
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I enjoy family the most (Golf is pretty close though, Ha). I enjoy spending time with Jenna and our kids. I enjoy skiing in the winter, golf, fix it up projects, I enjoy the gym, camping, and Maine. What certifications do you have/ what are your specialties?

My specialities are embracing the challenges of this trade, spending time with customers and our employees. What do you like about working at Gammon's HVAC? I like watching the growth of this company and the amazing talent that the employees bring to work everyday. I have loved to watch this team persevere through the hardship that we never could have predicted (such as 2020 brought) and grow even stronger as a team!
Services
You and your family want to be in an environment that stays comfortable, even in extreme heat and cold. Smart homeowners know that worry-free, reliable comfort doesn't happen by accident. You need a trustworthy HVAC company to get you there. Let us be your partner in home comfort in Portland!

Should your furnace break down and need emergency service, you'll be glad to know we are reachable after hours and are familiar with most every brand of equipment made. Our experienced, highly-trained HVAC technicians can quickly discover why you need a Furnace repair and fix the problems plaguing your heating system.
Study up - Find out about license and insurance requirements for contractors in your state. And before you call a contractor, know the model of your current system and its maintenance history. Also, make note of any uncomfortable rooms. This will help potential contractors better understand your heating needs.
Most air conditioners have their capacity rated in BTUs, or British Thermal Units. A BTU is, generally, the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water one degree F. Specifically, a BTU is 1,055 joules, but the first definition is easier to understand in real-life terms. One "ton", in heating and cooling terms, is 12,000 BTUs.
Maintain your equipment to prevent future problems and unwanted costs. Keep your cooling and heating system at peak performance by having a contractor do annual pre-season check-ups. Contractors get busy once summer and winter come, so it's best to check the cooling system in the spring and the heating system in the fall.
The systems you now use or choose to have installed may qualify for energy efficiency savings. You may be able to take the credits if you made energy saving improvements to your home located in the United States in 2020. Homeowners may be able to claim federal tax credits equal to 10% of the installed cost for qualifying HVAC improvements, up to a maximum credit of $500.

Jaime is THE BEST—the Daughter of the Owner Bruce—she is NOT riding on his coattails—she’s carving her own path—knowledgeable and friendly and professional—she’s the ENTIRE PACKAGE—cannot recommend her or Gammons enough—they installed both my boiler and heat pumps!!

Jamie and Kon installed a new 3 zone A/C system. Both were very knowledgeable and their customer relations skills were excellent. 85 degrees as I write with the system working great.
I have just suggested that my neighbors use Gammon's for their A/C requirements.

I started working with the owner Bruce Gammon by asking for a quote on a new heating system, including a heat pump for a four season porch. His pricing was very competitive and he made me comfortable with the installation and the choices that we made for my home. It turns out his whole organization is very much like him after the sale the support and the help from people in his office is incredible. The person who coordinates the Efficiency Maine Rebates and helps with any of my questions is Debbie and she is outstanding. I have worked with Roger the service manager also he is very knowledgeable

I have the same issue that Ms Tibet’s has with lack of follow up and payment for the rebates. The lack of response is horrible. Poor treatment of Biddeford Pantry volunteer and resident. Just shameful. It’s going on 2 years now of lip service and no action. I’ve stated a small claims

My problems is not with the equipment or installation. Gammon's has not been responsive concerning my rebate which I have not received. (It was solely their responsibility to submit m paperwork to Efficiency Maine.) The rebate is a substantial amount of money and was a selling point from this company concerning concerning these units. I received installation in August 2020 and have call numerous times inquiring over the last 5 months about the status of my rebate and I never get a consistent answer concerning why I have not received any money. I have asked that Gammon's refund me from their company
