Services
Universal Engine Repair performs a wide range of diagnostics to get to the root of your vehicle's problem. While most of these diagnostic procedures are performed free of charge, occasionally issues are a bit more troublesome to pinpoint (such as internal engine issues or electrical problems). If extensive diagnostics are required, a fee will be charged that can be credited towards repairs should you choose to proceed.

Zac has been nothing short of amazing. He's worked on multiple cars for my wife and me, and each time has been flawless. Timing and pricing are clearly explained up front, and any issues/changes are quickly and clearly communicated. It's rare to find a mechanic that not only effortlessly knows how to correctly repair your car, but is also honest, trustworthy, and able to clearly communicate everything involved when you bring your car in for service.

Last fall I submerged my Bronco's engine/intake, and the engine was trashed by the dirt it managed to pull into the crankcase. Upon calling around to different local shops, I had a good conversation with Zac, and had it towed to Universal Engine Repair. Zac found a quality re-manufactured engine for a good price and swapped out the engine. During that time I received updates and didn't feel like I was bothering anyone when I called with questions (which were answered in detail). All of this for an affordable price. I've put about 2,000 miles on the new engine so far and have had no issues. No leaks

Only minor complaint is it took longer than expected. But they were hunting down a bolt for my old car that ford stopped manufacturing. Besides that this place is solid. Fair pricing. Didn't feel like I was being ripped off like I usually do when I go to a mechanic. Buddy of mine recommended me and I am not dissapointed.

Just when you thought there weren't any honest mechanics out there! Zac quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed part. Once the part came in he fixed everything in less than 30 minutes. Pricing was fair and the service was friendly. Would recommend this shop to anyone needing any car repairs done at an affordable price.

Just picked up my car from the shop, and I must say that this has been by far the best auto repair/mechanic experience I've ever had. Not only did Zac complete several complex repairs quickly and efficiently, but he gave me the best quote in town, worked with me to give me a discount, and replaced my tail light bulb and did a couple of other minor repairs for free. He also stayed late to give us the car- well after closing, and then took his time to explain/show us the work. If you're looking for an efficient, fair-priced, and honest mechanic, Zac is your guy.
