The tear drain consists of two small openings called puncta. One punctum is in your upper eyelid and the other punctum is in your lower eyelid. Each of these openings leads into a small tube called the canaliculus which, in turn, empties into the lacrimal sac between the inside corner of your eye and your nose.
There are many kinds of eye trauma and all should be treated as an emergency. We treat injuries that require the attention of an eye reconstructive surgery specialist. Such injuries include blowout fracture of the orbit, eyelid and lacrimal system laceration due to accident or animal attack, and any other injury that may result in damage to orbit and tissues of the eye.

Dr Nelson , screwed up a basic 101 surgery on my left eye lid. He refused to fix it and make it right.

The doctor that fixed it literally
Laughed at me when I told him Dr Nelson was an actually eye surgeon. The doctor that fixed Dr Nelson's work was a plastic surgeon who rarely worked on eye lids but said it was so basic anyone could fix it.

Dr Nelson needs to retire

Dr Nelson did surgery on both eye lids, a few years ago and I couldn't believe the excellent results. Yesterday He changed the direction of a tear duct. He is courteous, as as his entire staff, and accurate in his surgeries, and does complete followup.
