I just want to start by saying I’ve never met anyone as afraid to remove there wisdom teeth as I was. I had to have two wisdoms removed yesterday and my teeth were compacted so basically infected. I was so afraid that it took my about 8 years to finally just get it done. What I will say this place is AMAZING! Very clean, and the staff was very patient and very nice. I was put to sleep of course because I would’ve probably ran out if I was awake during my procedure. My doctor saw my X-ray and told my one of my teeth was on my nerve (the root of my tooth). He didn’t pressure me in making a

First of all, the place is clean. And second, The nurses at this place are amazing. They are sweet and took care of my baby boy. The process was quick. My son needed some work done for quite some time. We were scheduled for surgery in no time. Thank you for the care after the surgery. Thanks to Dr Chu and his team!

TLDR version - highly recommend them. They took great care of our son.
We were waiting to be seen by a different dentist and had a really rough experience that involved months of delays, a trip to the ER involving an overnight stay, and finally being given the news that he had an infection in his tooth and gums that was serious.
We couldn't find anyone near us that could help even after seeking recommendations from the hospital and other dental locations nearby. Finally we did get a recommendation for the Dental Surgery Center after 12 business hours of constant phone calls. They realized the

I bought my son in a few weeks ago, and it was such a lovely experience. Everyone was very friendly and the service was super punctual. The representative who made our appointment was the sweetest person ever. She was very friendly, understanding, and did her best to work around my already hectic schedule. It was a great first impression. Thank you for all you guys do!

Just had the WORST experience at Dental Surgery Center of DC. I had a procedure scheduled today for my child at 12:30. Their office called me not even 24 hours prior to tell me they had a cancellation and wanted to see if I could come in today at 7:30am, I declined and stated that I wanted to keep my 12:30 appointment. They tried to switch it and say that the anesthesiologist would not be there at that time. After going back and forth, they stated I could do 11:30. I gave them his medical history and asked if there was anything else i needed to bring. I was told to bring just my ID and insurance

I truly appreciate this entire Staff. They were attentive to our child's needs.
A special thanks to Tayona and Dr. Wilson-Banks. The sincerity and support they provided to our Family today is immensely more than we could have expected.
I would have rated the DSC of DC 5 out of 5 stars, however we were not able to promptly enter the facility on time and unfortunately our child wasn't able to keep a tooth (it'll grow back, thankfully). There's always room to improve for all of us, with that said I would refer this facility to someone with a child requiring a dental surgical procedure.

One of the best places I have ever been to. I have a special needs child and have been to many medical facilities but this had to have been my best experience ever. Everyone was so awesome from the receptionist to the nurses the anesthesiologist the dentist and even the person who walked us out at the end. Awesome experience. Everything was done in a timely fashion and with efficiency.

My son with Autism was referred to Capital Children Center. His dental bill with my cigna dental insurance was 1400. Which was ok. But 5 months later we receive a bill for 6000 for going to this facility. And 2000 for the anesthesia that they used. So my son total bill was 9400. For one tooth extraction ( fracture tooth) and one metal cap(crown). Noone explain me I would be chearged this. I thought my son was going to the dentist.NEVER again. Please ask for your bill upfront. Don't get tricked like I did.

My son is a destitute adult diagnosed with autism and nonverbal. He indicated to me by his actions that his tooth was bothering him so Wednesday 4/3/2018 I took my him in for an emergency walk in at the dentist. Luckily there was no abscess or infection but he had to be referred to Dental Surgery Center of DC, Capital Childrens, 1220 Caraway Ct 1050, Largo MD 20774. I called to make the appointment and was able to get one for Monday 4/8. I was informed to get clearance from the primary doctor and neurologist. I went to Children's National Medical Center as a walk in and asked to have the
