Cool arcade game, music and vibe is different for every floor. Not really a dancing bar vibe..

I have been coming to this bar for years and it never gets old. Friendly bartenders who know how to make a good cocktail. The atmosphere is what really keeps me coming back. The history of boston sports and entertainment is portrayed so well by this bar and I recommend it to anyone spending time in the West End of Boston. Best bruins pregame spot in the city by a lot. Keep up the great work!

Service was very slow. Didn't have a great selection of beer or whiskey. Food was good. They placed us next to a group of very drunk people, who found their way over to our table and began invading personal space. Non of the staff did anything. Then a waitress spilled beer all over my wife and I. And we still got charged for the beer. This was probably just a rough night but it doesn't make me want to go back anytime soon.

This place denied me service on my 21st birthday. Either they are dumb or clueless whichever way do not waste your time. Last place I’d bring someone new to Boston. They were extremely rude about the delivery as well. Happy holidays (except to greatest bar)

The bouncers were extremely rude as well as the majority of the staff. The prices of the drinks are no where near worth the experience at this dump.

I came to visit after attending a Celtics game. The Bartender upstairs (where the arcade games are) was extremely rude for no reason. The attitude and snark was unnecessary. It killed my vibe and night. Besides this, I actually loved the DJ, and the diversity in music he was playing…arcade games…and chill vibes. I won’t be returning though. I prefer to spend my money in establishments that appreciate their customers. As a bartender, if you’re having a bad night or don’t like customer facing…skip work or find another job.

Great pre/post game place for bruins & Celtics games. Excellent service and decent food, with a relaxed atmosphere. It's like 2 minutes from the Garden

Extremely rude bouncers. Instead of telling you not to bring your drink outside, literally squeezed the drink out of my hand. I was astounded at the inappropriateness. Would never go back or recommend. They need help. So rude. 0/10. Not just rude to me but my friends too.

Flew into Boston from Virginia and went right to this spot. It was our pre Halloween celebration. The place has several different floors. The crowd started really slow on Thursday night but got better as the night went on. Caution...be careful when you come out. The sidewalk is uneven. I tripped, slipped and fell right into the street! Totally all my fault. I busted my lip, chipped front tooth and really fractured the other front tooth. Needless to say after dentistry and endodentisy appointments, I had to get two root canals done. Still gotta get crowns and go to orthodontics to redo work already

I've been coming here every Saturday to watch college football games (go psu!) and honestly it's a very fun environment. Lots of TVs to watch the games, DJ plays good music for commercial breaks, lots of seating since there's multiple floors, reasonable priced drinks, clean bathrooms, etc. All around a good experience that I would recommend for watch parties. The food is just average in my opinion and could be better- see pic of my burnt chicken nuggets as reference :(

My husband and I got "tickets" to watch a game at The Greatest Bar." Having tickets with a barcode in hand we showed up an hour before the game was to start. There was a huge line and we told to leave because the bar is at capacity. When we asked about having "tickets" he said that's "first come first serve." Oddly enough the night before the event my friend couldn't get a ticket because they were out of them?? What was the point of getting a ticket to begin with??

Awesome place! Great music and amazing club environment. If you are looking for a great club where you can watch a basketball game and also enjoy drinking this is the place. It gets really crowded on weekends but it's a fun place.

Paid for a VIP table to catch a hockey game for my brother's birthday. Planned on spending a good deal. Texted us 30mins before puck drop to tell us that our table would not be honored until after the game. Horribly inconsiderate management who are unable to honor their own commitments. Go anywhere else, they do not deserve a single cent you've earned.

I would give 0 stars if I could. They were so rude to us and super unfriendly. We left as soon as we interacted with the host and security. NOT the greatest bar!

I like to come here because there are 4 floors, its laid back, and the bouncers are cool.

But everything else about this night was crazy. The DJ on the 4th floor was playing thee wackest, most outdated songs ever. He left you with no momentum. He played Nelly 'E I E I Ugh Oh" I suggested he play a song and he declined. I saw a few ppl make song requests but he was doing his thing.

Also, the temp in those rooms need to be controlled a lil more. Body odor and heat mixed with damp air isn't the best smells to be around.

There were a few servers with attitudes too, Which sucks cause

Spent a great afternoon at The Greatest Bar watching my West Virginia Mountaineers game with the Boston WVU alumni chapter which is their regular game watch venue. Very nice of them to include is out of towners from Charleston, WV. The two ladies with us each had cheese pizzas which were smoky and crisp much like NY style pizza. They were hot and quite good. I had the boneless buffalo tenders which were covered in a nice medium hot sauce.

The beers were cold and discounted, like the food, specifically for us WVU fans which was very nice. As our game ended a huge crowd was beginning to come in

Attended their Super Bowl LIII party last weekend and had a great experience -- minus the pretty terrible food. I was impressed with the level of service considering the insane crowd. The staff was friendly throughout the long, tiring day battling a crowded floor and navigating drunk/happy Pats fans. We had a group of 7 and reserved a table which amounted to ~$25 each to guarantee our seats together + a reasonable minimum that we had to spend -- between 7 people eating and drinking it was an easy mark to hit. This compared to other bars that charge way more to reserve a seat and/or don't offer

I was in town visiting family and my brother wanted to come here one weekend to watch a football game. He went to Penn State and this is a Penn State bar so we met some of his friends and our family here.

It was busy but we found a bunch of seats upstairs. There was a good amount of seating in this bar. They had your typical bar drink menu but the food here was super good for bar food.

We ordered chicken fingers, French fries and nachos. They clearly made the chicken here themselves and the fries were well seasoned and perfectly crisp. I was very impressed - it's not easy to do bar food

This bar is the greatest. Three floors! Get there earlier because the lines are long outside. We sat on the second floor. The waitress comes around and takes our order. The view is amazing and you can see everything from the tv to people watching.

My friends and I came to The Greatest Bar as it was one of the stops for Green Eggs and Hammered Bar Crawl by North Station.

The Greatest Bar is a four-level sports bar known for booze and dancing. My favorite floor was the first floor because it was surprisingly the cleanest and the bar was lit green for St. Patrick's Day. The drinks were reasonably priced. I loved how they had Stella Artois Cidre and Strongbow Cider.

The higher up you went, the trashier it was. It was a loud club like atmosphere during the day. The floor were a sticky mess. There was trash everywhere. There were people
