I’ve been getting my hair done here at least once a week for over five years. I can’t stop! I have their monthly membership which allows me unlimited blowouts on certain days of the week and I absolutely love it. The membership is such a good deal for someone like me. I have a lot of hair and only wash it once a week so the style lasts me forever. They do great blowouts with a flat iron that last me all the days.
All of their stylists are awesome, but their current crew is the best. Estrella, Car, Jazmine, Krista, and Brittany all leave me feeling fabulous. I’ve had my hair done here for

Love this location. Very few places can do BOTH hair and makeup in Chicago and Corinna and Mal filled that void! They are amazing businesswomen who get it and treat their employees right despite our crazy world!!

Andrea did my makeup and she is UNREAL. Not only did she do an amazing job, but I also was crying at a good friends wedding and legit none of my makeup came off at all.

I’m so glad I booked Goldplaited for my wedding. The team at the salon was incredibly professional, courteous and responsive. Their pricing is straightforward and clear; parking/transportation is included with the on-site flat rate which I appreciated. Estrella did an incredible job on my short hair and my makeup was out of this world! On the day of my trial, she knew my inspiration boards by heart (!!!) and absolutely nailed them. She was responsive to my feedback and so easy to work with. Exactly what I hoped for—and more—on my wedding day! Cannot recommend them enough.

Amazing for special event or elopement/wedding!

Great communication with business and got exactly what I requested. Left pleased. Staff professional and easy to work with!

Only downside was airbrush makeup/eye makeup wasn't was long lasting as hoped. Eye make up smudged and faded through night which was disappointing.

Marissa and Estrella made me feel prettier than I have in two years! Both were great listeners and gave me exactly the look I was hoping for. The makeup by Marissa was very classy and matched perfectly with the vintage waves by Estrella. Both my makeup and hair lasted all night. This place saves so much stress and time, and the final result was so much better than anything I've ever done on my own. Thanks, you two-- I'll definitely be back!

I got my hair and makeup done for a party and never felt more confident after a service, especially makeup. I want to give a special shout out to my makeup artist, Kimberly! I'm a little picky about colors and what I use and she was incredible! My makeup was flawless and stayed put all night long. Definitely am coming back for any other special events!

I came here for a quick blowout before a wedding. It is a BEAUTIFUL new (?) shop with ample street parking. It took a full hour for my long, thick, curly hair, but it came with a wash and some extra product for anti-frizz since we were going to be outdoors!

I love to stretch my blowout for as long as possible, so I didn't wash my hair for a week.... It held great! I would gladly return for any big event or just because! Well worth the money in my opinion!

Kimberly did an amazing job on my make-up! Would 100% go back and have her do it again. Everyone there is very nice and unassuming. A great chill, relaxed place to get all glammed up!

So I had a wedding to attend booked the place because this was the first one that popped up. First day I was late by 10 mins and was charged it was fine my fault. Second day I reached on time and by makeup was scheduled for 2 but did not stay till 2:15 ish. Once makeup was done I had my hair done and once everything was done I paid and left and when I was sent the receipt it showed a fee for overtime. It was not my fault they started late I have short hair and all I had done was loose curls. It a cute place but the prices don’t add up when you pay. I was booked for a fee of 140 and both times

This place is magical! They got me in on the same day! I had been feeling down for a while about my hair but they turned that around so fast. I haven't felt this pretty in a long time. They were so kind from start to end and made me feel like a queen. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for adding some sunshine to my day!

I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to have their hair or makeup done professionally. These girls know what they’re doing and they take great care to make sure you’re satisfied with the end result. I’m hooked on their blowouts and will never do my own makeup for another special occasion again.

The woman who did my hair was nice but she could not figure out my bangs. Also, my hair fell flat the moment I stepped out the door. I will have to redo my hair and this was essentially a waste of time and money. I strongly discourage against the dry blowout.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Long story short DO NOT go to this establishment if you are getting your hair/make-up done for any special event or want to look decent. If you have to go here, make sure you have a "trial" run done before the actual event day, because you will need to coach the individuals through how to do their job/give you anything close to what you asked for. I had seen this place recommended multiple times on neighborhood Facebook groups (only to realize later it was the employees recommending it) and saw the decent reviews, but I was a fool to believe them.

They did my hair and makeup for my elopement in July and did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. I plan to go here for our full celebration next year.

The makeup artist I scheduled an appointment with is super talented, my finished look was absolute perfection. Clean environment and the hour slots allow time for a quality service. I’ll call the salon and find out her name to make an edit later.

I recently had my bridal (+trial) hair and makeup done at Goldplaited along with my bridesmaids. I was really happy with how everything turned out, the entire goldplaited staff was so pleasant and really great at what they did. The price was also very reasonable for the area. They offer bridal in salon or on site at your hotel, we chose in salon just for ease due to proximity and it was def nice to have the space to move around. They did not charge extra for eyelashes or airbrush which was nice. Would def recommend for weddings!

The place was cute and the staff were friendly. My hair experience was okay. She didn’t understand what I wanted and I ended up redoing my hair at home. She made it look so stiff with the excessive amounts of hairspray.
For makeup, they don’t use high quality brands. It’s all these random brands ( except for the Morphe eyeshadow palette). My lipstick was already off after 1 hour. The make up started to crease when I laughed. They use very basic make up techniques that I could’ve definitely used at home. I expected that I am going to a professional make up artist who is going to make me

Wow. I am so impressed with this place!!! I scheduled a makeup application for a gala and was paired with Becky. She was so personable. The entire staff was actually very professional and very friendly. I had gone to another salon nearby to get my hair done and wasn't pleased with my end results. I asked if they could have someone at Goldplaited touch up my hair and redo my curls. They were able to have someone do my hair while Becky was doing my makeup - I was so grateful! They made me feel like a celebrity. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. They also have some of their makeup

We hired Goldplaited for a braid bar and it was an absolute hit! It was one of our favorite events that we've ever hosted at our space. Not only were the braiders on time and professional, they were really friendly and knowledgeable. They gave really great recommendations for hair styles and I was super impressed with their ability to braid different styles between 10-15 minutes. I would highly recommend them!
