Mr. Alex R. Hernandez Jr. was born in Port Lavaca, Texas and has lived most of his life knowing he would become a lawyer. The son of a Mexican immigrant, Alex R. Hernandez Jr. has lived in many places throughout his life because of his family and the good fortune and nurturing his parents provided for him.
Originally from Dallas, Jason English runs our Austin office location. Mr. English handles criminal and civil law matters throughout Travis and the surrounding counties. Mr. Hernandez and Mr. English went to law school together and became close friends, they attended the Universidad Panamerica program in Mexico City with the University of Houston.
I am a lawyer. I am entrusted by the People of Texas to preserve and improve our legal system. I am licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. I must therefore abide by the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct, but I know that Professionalism requires more than merely avoiding the violation of laws and rules.

This is quite possibly the most inept law firm, ever. The first lawyer they assigned to us did not do his job properly, and I (a doctor, not a lawyer) had to actually step in and tell him what needed to be done. I then complained (and was billed for discussing my complaint with someone at the firm!), and assigned a new attorney. This one was… supposed to fix the issue done by the first attorney and also do another step. It took over 6 weeks, and nearly $3k in charges, for NOTHING to happen. It blew my mind that they were charging me to fix an issue that was not my fault in the first place

I contacted this law firm during the pandemic to help me settle my husband's estate. In 15 months I have been assigned to 4 different lawyers. The first lawyer seemed to know estate and probate procedures. The next 2 did not. I was just assigned the 4th lawyer and we are not communicating well. When I complained 6 months ago, they talked like… they would make sure my case was handled better, and that I would get some financial relief. I am paying by the hour for each lawyer to figure out what needs to be done to get my husband's will probated.
