I had the special today... Salmon patties. I got the green beans and fries with it. Everything was delicious. We felt the fries portion was a little small. Would be my only suggestion to put a few more fries with the meal <3
Besides that very satisfied 😌

Our server Jade spent more time chatting with "regulars " and counting her money than taking care of customers. The food was great but she ruined our experience!

We had a great breakfast. My husbands omelet was huge! He is picky but loved it! The staff is wonderful! We love their coffee too! The owner even let us order a case for our home use! How awesome is that?

Deceivingly roomy diner with a small storefront. Called ahead since it looked like we were getting there at 1:30 p.m. before their 2 p.m. closing time. They said that it wasn't a problem and when we got there it looked like lots of folks had the same idea of having a late lunch on a Tuesday and they had no problem taking all those orders and getting them made with time to prep for closing.

Can order breakfast or lunch, we wound with two breakfasts. Got the chicken fried chicken breakfast giving me a combination of chicken fried chicken along with biscuits (plus eggs and hash casserole). Enough

Always great food and love the small town feel of the place. The Chicken biscuit breakfast is the way to go in my opinion though you'll enjoy anything you order.

During the Coronavirus outbreak, they handled curbside service like pros! It was a Much needed brunch/lunch break during a long ride home. Their wraps were amazing and the people were very friendly. Highly recommend!

What a fun place! When I travel, I try to find the places the truckers used to call a "Local choke & puke" (maybe they still do?) that are locally owned diners. I already know what I'm going to find at portion-controlled franchise places out near the Interstate, and local diners tend to have a colorful atmosphere all their own.

This is such a place!

First of all, you have to want to go here because it's not on a main drag or prominent thoroughfare. There is parking on the street and a small lot to the side of the building. You'll know you've found it when you

While in town to check out the new Mellencamp mural, I decided to stop by Townhouse Cafe to get something to go. The cafe is small, but has its own lot to the west of the building, so I grabbed a spot and headed inside.

The interior has dining tables to the left and a counter with seating on the right. The staff were friendly and greeted me. I sat at the counter and let them know I wanted a black coffee to go. I saw they had a bunch of pies, but didn't see any pastry, so I asked. They happened to have blueberry muffins with a lemon cream center. Yes please! They even served it warm

I used to eat here as a kid. We drove from North Vernon often to eat here regularly. I was so bummed about it's closing, but some friends I know bought it! It's better than ever. The new sign was a much needed update. I love it! I am SO happy to have seen/heard a lot of buzz about the place. It's finally getting the recognition it deserves. I don't live close enough anymore. I have been once since it's re-opening and it was a fantastic breakfast, incredible service, and unbeatable prices. Last time I went, it was cash only. There's an ATM, but I'm iffy about fees

If you're looking for a place so good, even the locals eat there... This is it. It's not where the chain restaurants are on the main highway. This is in a residential area. The food was yummy. The pies were great!!

Really wanted to like this place. 'Homemade' pie was made of canned blueberries with that gross goo that comes with it; crust needed butter and salt. But, the gravy with the biscuits was too salty. Home fries (hash browns) were super greasy and barely warm. Family said bacon was good, but hard to screw that up. Hot cakes looked giant and good...if I'm ever here again I'll try those.

Service was very nice. Great prices. Pay at the front.

I've been here a few times for breakfast. I like the atmosphere but wish the food was better. They seem to have a loyal following of customers that they know by name.
