At Clarksdale Vision Center, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. James F.Humber based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire Clarksdale optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
Dr. Humber began working with Dr. Robert Traylor in 1997 at our original location on Third Street. He received a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Mississippi State University, and his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College Of Optometry. Martha Williams is our Office Manager and Coordinator.
At Clarksdale Vision Center, Dr. James F.Humber and our entire Clarksdale optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As an optometrist in San Diego, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
At Clarksdale Vision Center, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. We provide corrective lens evaluations and prescription management. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. Humber will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.
During an eye exam, Dr. Humber will ask you questions about any symptoms or issues you are experiencing, medications your are currently taking, any blurry vision, your work environment, and your overall health. Family history and previous eye or vision conditions will also be discussed during this part of the examination.

WARNING DO NOT BUY HERE!!! I received a eyes exam from Clarksdale Vision Center also bought a eye glass frame and order anti fog on my glasses. The glass frames where making SQUEAKING NOISES also the EYE EXAM was done INCORRECTLY. I ask for a refund for the eye exam & was DENIED. The staff are are only concern about MAKING FUNDS not the Costumer. Having a bad eye exam is VERY DANGEROUS and SERIOUS! I had trouble seeing when driving because the glasses will BLUR UP and become UNFOCUS.

The front office staff is very helpful and friendly. My problem is that I got my glasses and couldn't see out of them. Took them back because every time I put them on it felt like my eyes were straining. The lady in the back made the choice to not retest my eyes and just change the prescription. Well I got them back again and it is the same. Don't know if they can't get the prescription right or just don't care. Was recommended by a friend but will never use them again
