The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.

I'm generally not one to post much on Social Media but my recent eye exam with Eyes Ect was both the most comprehensive and most enjoyable Optical Evaluation I've ever experienced. I would unreservedly recommend anyone in the greater Oxford/North Mississippi area to seek out Eyes Ect. in Taylor, Mississippi. (and don't forget to visit Taylor Grocery and Lost Dog Cafe) I Guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Darby and her staff were very patient with my father who has Alzheimer disease. They adjusted their testing when he could not recognize letter to familiar shapes and assisted him with standing, sitting and moving to different chairs and equipment placements for his eye exam. She explained all test and results.

Dr. Darby is the best optometrist I have ever visited. She spent well over an hour with me and explained everything she was doing and made me feel so comfortable during the examination. Eyes, etc. has the best selection of frames of any I have seen. I could have bought every one that was shown to me. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend Dr. Darby and Eyes, etc enough. If you want a fabulous exam and experience, visit Eyes, etc. in Taylor.

Dr. Elizabeth Darby and her staff are the best! She is efficient and her eye exams are extremely thorough with the latest equipment in a very pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Darby took time to answer any questions I had and explain things clearly. Like no other eye clinic. Selection of frames is fantastic even for non-prescription sunglasses! Highly recommend.
