Needed some files off a non working laptop. Spoke to Stephen on the phone and was told to bring it by that afternoon and there would be a flat fee if he could transfer the files and no fee if he couldn’t. Received a text after dropping it off that the transfer had started. He was able to transfer all the files onto a thumb drive and was ready the next day.

Had a laptop go down with no sound coming from the speakers for several weeks. I searched online for hours to find a competent solution but in the end, decided to go with Common Sense Tech. Within a couple of days, Stephen was able to correct the issue, and even went the extra mile to clean, optimize, and correct a charging problem I was unaware of. If you are looking for an affordable, no-nonsense approach with incredible customer service, look no further. I would highly recommend Common Sense to anyone in the area.

I dealt with Stephen, who promptly responded to my inquiry, was honest and efficient in retrieving data from two computers, and actually revived one computer that I thought was past use. The company is affordable and one that I would happily use again. Stephen has worked on two of my Laptop computers, one was beyond repairing (motherboard was bad / too costly to replace). The 2nd Laptop had a bad hard drive and he replaced it with a new Sold State Drive (SSD), all was fine for awhile until I ran into a software (Microsoft Windows 10) problem with maintenance. the Laptop was 10+ years old, and I decided to replace it with a new mini tower desktop system that Stephen built for me.
The new desktop is astounding and super fast, it should last me much longer that the Laptop computers I've been using for IBM mainframe systems software development

Even picked up and dropped off same day to help me. Very respectful of COVID-19 concerns as well. Cannot day enough good things about Stephen.
