Honest People that do right by their tenants and their owners, not an easy job. Hard to do what an owner wants and keep a tenant happy too. The middle man is usually the bad guy, but not in this case, they actually make an effort to do right by both. No easy task. Glad there are good guys still in this profession. Hard to find honest property managers in Ramona. You can find one here.

I rented a property that was falling apart. Failed to fix anything and then charged me for the fix when i moved out. They also made me pay close to $4,400 and kept my deposit when i moved. I wouldn't rent from them again because i rather keep my money then give it to a greedy company. They charge top dollar for houses that haven't been maintained in 20-30 years, then take your deposit for no reason at all plus charge you more.
They also say it's a Month-Month contract been there a year but charged me for 90-days when i moved out...

The staff at Xanthus - Mark, Robin, and Brian are fantastic. Every issue with the house we have raised has been dealt with swiftly and effectively. They're always very pleasant when working with them. When we moved in, the hill on the side of our property was a wreck - they have worked along side us and our landscaper to make and keep it looking great!

Mark and Robin have redeemed my faith in renting a house in Ramona. If you are a great renter, rent from Xanthus. They really take care of you.

A friend of mine is looking for a place to rent in Ramona. Mark has been great dealing with my friend--he is friendly, responsive, and truly seems to care. The first property she saw didn't work out for her so Mark continued to try to find her a home. This "caring" type of service is difficult to find.

I just did an application with them on August 3rd of 2015. Mark Allen and his front counter secretary seemed to be very polite and kind. On the 4th of August I received an email from Mark with a few questions regarding my application. I responded to this email on the 5th; I answered all questions he had asked and he responded stating he would contact me back as soon as he was finished processing the application. A week later I hear nothing. So I call the business number and a women answered unsure if this is an assistant or the woman at the front desk there. She tells me the application is still

I rented from Xanthus and Mark for a little over 9 months! Mark and his staff was responsive, professional and extremely understanding. Mark went well beyond what any management could would have done in ensuring our move out was successful and we received our deposit back.
I would highly recommend Xanthus to anyone who is looking for a home in Ramona. Quality service and good honest business practices are hard to find.

This is a top notch rental management company. We never had an instance where Mark was not attentive to any needs we had. Any problems we encountered were dealt with professionally and within a reasonable amount of time. Read this into any poor reviews: someone who has an axe to grind because they wanted something for nothing. We lived up to our obligation and Mark absolutely lived up to his and beyond. If you are someone who values a professional relationship and lives up to your obligations then this is someone you want to do business with.

Some of the reviews on here are total BS, and the people making them are probably just guilty of something that made them pay up in the end and they are pissed about it and looking to hurt the company in any way. I am a former renter and a formal employee of Xanthus. I know Mark and Robin very well, and they are both very nice people. Its not always easy being the person behind the desk and having renters come in and tell you how to do your job, or telling you that you aren't doing it good enough. Its not Marks fault if someone wants to not pay rent, or wants to trash one of the rental properties
