I would like to express my appreciation to Whipple, Mercado & Associates LLP. I knew I was going with them as soon as I hung up after our consultation. The whole thing was so scary just because I don't know anything about family law and the whole process can be completely overwhelming and intimidating. Every time I spoke with Tammy or Mary it was reassuring. All interactions with them and the paralegals were encouraging. The court process was the best. That was so scary and Mary totally nailed it. I hired Mary Whipple after I heard of a very positive review from someone she represented during his divorce. So, I hired her for mine a few years ago in 2017. I found that appointments were to the point yet didn't lack the kindness one needs when their world is being turned upsidedown.
It's easy to ramble on and on when you're hurting and stressed, but we kept focus during appointments (I needed the focus, not Mary 😉). Emails were responded to professionally and promptly, and she helped me get things agreed upon with my husband because we, like many others during a divorce process, struggled

If you need an attorney I would recommend that you contact Tammy Mercado! She is great! She was able to fend off my ex who was trying to paint me in a bad light with the judge for custody and visitation. She was able to successfully contradict her false allegations and get me 50/50 custody despite my ex's false statements to the court. Tammy is reasonably priced and cares about her clients! I felt well listened to and taken care of! Don't be fooled by high priced hired guns who will just take your money and not provide results. I am extremely happy. Thank you Tammy!

Tammy Mercado made a huge mistake when she was in with her mother’s vindictive rampage against me! She wrote my mother’s will then, thru instruction from her mother (my sister) tried taking money from my inheritance by claiming there was no will! A bold face lie!
Immoral, unethical and ILLEGAL! If Tammy would purposely lie about her own uncle for finiancial gain, what other crimes would she commit? They lied because they didn’t think I could prove it. WRONG! I am submitting a complaint with the Legal Board against Tammy Mercado after the court finds the truth in this matter! Good advise

I retained Mary Whipple to defend me against an unfounded restraining order. I feel she failed me because she was overconfident and completely unprepared for my case. I had to tell her when to object in the middle of the hearing, etc. and basically lost to the plaintiff who was representing herself. Pretty embarrassing I can imagine. In hindsight, and after talking with better lawyers, there were many things Mary could have and should have done before the case went to an actual hearing (mediation, SPEAKING with the other side, preparing the witnesses, etc.)

Nobody likes having to get a lawyer to handle a divorce, but when you need one, this is the place you want to turn to. I was fortunate to have Tammy Mercado on my side, and she did a wonderful job for me. She was also great at helping me keep my costs down, and, when money became tight at the end of a very difficult divorce, she still kept giving me good, solid advice and support. This is someone who really cares about her clients, it's not about the money. It truly is about helping her clients. I would highly recommend Tammy and her firm to anyone in need!

I hired Tammy for my divorce case. They overbills me. They are very unprofessional. Don’t prepare court documents correctly. Keep making mistakes in preparation of court documents. Keep charging even if it’s there mistakes. They don’t know what was going in my case. They unreturned my phone after they got my money. Very sloppy not good.
