Pleasantly surprised by this quaint hotel in New Meadows, rooms were immaculate, pets were allowed, and the yard outside was an inviting place to gather. The owner was super nice, gave excellent dining recommendations and was even kind enough to give us a call and mail our lost items home for no charge.

We will be back and I have recommended the Hartland to others. It is away from the traffic and bustle of McCall but close to skiing and good dining. We stayed in the beautiful main house and loved it! The bed was so comfortable and the room had a nice tv/dvd player and everything else we needed. There were cozy shared sitting rooms decorated early 1900's style. Breakfast was served at the time we had requested with a record playing to set the mood. The food was incredible yet suited to my special diet. My husband had a huge loaded omelet, plus hashbrowns, bacon, fruit, and juice. The hosts

Service was excellent. They made us feel right at home. Breakfast was also really good with fresh fruit, toast, hash browns, and a great sausage and egg frittata. Steve, the owner, was super and set the coffee up for me the night before so I could just start it in the morning as I am a very early riser. Annie found me a blow dryer, since I forgot mine. The house itself is from a bygone era and steeped in history. It had a lovely feel. I especially loved the old fashioned push-button light switches.
