Located in the Hotel McCall, Rupert's is a fine dining spot in the center of town. Well kept, and the food is an exceptional value. Well thought out and presenting great flavors that are miles above the nearby competition at prices not much higher. Try to get a table where you can enjoy the lake view!
Alas, the tepid pop-disco music track does little to support the ambience, and the waiters are overly casual. But the decor is pleasant, with fresh flowers and oil lamps on the tables.
Go for a birthday celebration or just when you crave something special.

Good food at a reasonable price. Great view of the sunset. Seating was a little closer than I liked. Loved the brie appetizer. My steak was cooked perfectly, however the potatoes were less than tepid temp. I mentioned it to our server and replaced them promptly. My wife's salmon with sweet potato polenta was excellent. Also, the berry crumble dessert was quite tasty. We will go back as I want to try the twice baked potatoes.
