Camelot Home Inspections was unusually quick to get to our inspection, and very quick to get reports to us. The home inspection was in sections, covering the home in one section and the outbuildings in another. A separate inspector wrote our septic / land drainage report, and a third wrote up an insect / pest report.
Q How much does it cost for a home inspection? A Basic Home Inspections start at $400.00. There are numerous add on inspections which cost more such as Wood Destroying, Septic Red Dye Flow Test, and Yard Sprinklers etc. Q What should I expect from a Home Inspection? Darrel Seidel with Camelot Home Inspections recently did a home inspection on a home my wife and I are purchasing.
First let me say scheduling the inspection was so easy. Lottie with Camelot made everything go so smoothly and she was so very helpful and followed up on the time and the inspector making sure everyone was on the same page. I called to get on their schedule figuring it might 3 or 4 days and she got it scheduled for a day and a half later.
Darrell our inspector was very thorough and allowed me to tag along while explaining all the deficiencies he found throughly so I could understand

We are in the process of buying a very large home in Van Zandt county. From the moment I called and spoke with Brian, I felt good about this choice. Brian was very kind and helpful (the "Heroes" discount for nurses was a blessing) and we got everything scheduled very quickly. Brian inspected our home for our upcoming remodel and update. I can't say enough about how wonderful and easy the process was. Although we are currently living in the home (furnished fully) Brian was very thorough. We highly recommend Brian and Camelot Home Inspections. Brian and his team are AMAZING! I’m a real estate agent and I always recommend them. When it came time to sell my personal home I used Brian. I wanted to be transparent and disclose literally everything. As a buyer you need a detailed inspection for what you are buying but sellers need that too!!! We used Brian Cameron with Camelot home inspection on our new build and glad we did. We were told by our realtor and several other people that an inspection on a new build was not necessary. After Brian did his inspection, we found out it was definitely needed. He found a pile of issues that I never would have looked for by myself. He went beyond what was expected and even marked down a list of cosmetic issues that I overlooked when I did a walk through. So glad we didn't listen to the people who told us the inspection was not necessary, it will save us a load of headaches and money down the road

Brian has inspected two houses for us and did a thorough inspection on both. He is professional, courteous, and, overall, very helpful.
