Services
The New Haven Veterinary Hospital served the area as a small and large animal practice for over a decade. Working as a small animal doctor at the original clinic, Dr. Michelle Schulte came to love New Haven, its people, and their pets. Recognizing the growing area's desire for a caring, progressive, and modern veterinary hospital, Dr. Schulte purchased the practice in 2008 and NHVC was "reborn".

We ask that all clients with a new pet arrive early to register your pet. If your pets are transferring from another veterinary hospital or you have a new pet please bring or fax a copy of their health records to our clinic. We do our best to stay on time, however, emergencies do occur. We thank you for being patient.
All pets need regular visits to a veterinarian at least once a year. Physical exams and preventative care allow our doctors to detect disease in its earliest stages and to implement vaccination protocols that protect your pet from costly and sometimes fatal diseases. Puppies and kittens need to be seen at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age for an examination and vaccine boosters.
Today's modern anesthetic drugs and anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past. We take many precautions to ensure the safety of your pet under anesthesia. Here at The New Haven Veterinary Hospital, we perform a thorough physical examination on your pet BEFORE administering anesthetic drugs.

Great vet veey hands on they take pride in discussing ALL forms of treatment, never had a vet call and text to follow up to see how the dogs were doing, they very upfront with all cost and treaments, hands down only place my dog's will ever go to in the future and its an hour one way and its still the best

I have used NHVC several times, and they always seem to go above and beyond! Took great care of my little dog for teeth cleaning, and even did some extra stuff while he was out.
Also, Dr. Parsons and the other amazing staff saved my sweet pup, who came way too close to dying. She did everything she could, answered all my questions, and called regularly to give us updates. I cannot say thank you enough!
