Boat building led to automotive prototype projects, display and exhibit work and to manufacturing machine housings. That original business Is now considered to be our COMMERCIAL segment. Within a few years, we were introduced to the steel, chemical and waste water treatment industries as a supplier of chemical resistant equipment, replacing stainless steel and rubber lined steel tanks, covers, ductwork and fume scrubbers.

THERMOSET POLYMERS: Fiberglass reinforced vinyl ester or isophthatlic resins molded in male or female molds. THERMOPLASTIC POLYMERS: Welded Polypropylene, Polyethylene or PVC sheet material formed to produce required equipment.

Glassline duplicates carved wood, porcelain enamel, granite, limestone and terra cotta in durable fire retardant fiberglass; precisely molded for interior and exterior applications.
In 1963 Glassline purchased Superior Polymer Corporation, a builder of sailboats, golf cart bodies, medical cabinetry and automotive prototypes. While we no longer build sailboats or golf cart bodies, we do produce a variety of OEM commercial products that require state of the art fiberglass components.
