Services
Semi-Volatile Organic (SVOC) compounds include basic, neutral and acidic extractable organic analytes that are determined by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). The full list of compounds available for reporting is commonly referred to as BNA. RTI Laboratories is able to provide analytical data for an extensive list of SVOCs.
The concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are determined using purge & trap extraction followed by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). For Gasoline Range Organic (GRO) analyses, Gas Chromatography-Flame Ionization Detector (FID) is used. RTI Laboratories provides analysis of volatile compound lists ranging from limited subsets, such as BTEX analytes, to full target compounds lists per client request.
The General Inorganic Chemistry Department at RTI Laboratories has knowledgeable chemists that are well versed in wet chemistry methods. Our team has extensive experience in the analysis of water, wastewater, soil and sediment for a full range of analytes. All general inorganic analyses are performed in accordance with federal and state guidelines and the requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
RTI Laboratories offers a wide range of microbiological testing services, including Heterotrophic plate counts, Chlorophyll A, Coliform Bacteria, Fecal and Total Coliform. Our chemists are experienced in potable, surface and storm water analysis and can support large volumes of samples throughout the testing seasons of the year.
RTI Laboratories has extensive experience providing analytical support for sediment projects nationwide. RTI adheres to US EPA methods, USACE protocol and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) technical guidance in support of dredge and sediment projects. We analyze sediment, elutriates, pore water, tissue and water matrices.

Not happy at all with this company. 1st they make you prepay and promise results in 3 weeks. Then after 3 months you get incomplete and erroneous data back.
