I started my career in an Aveda Salon in Ohio that was voted Best Salon in the city for as long as I can recall.
There I started the year-long extensive training/assistant program that has made me the Hair Designer I am today. We learned concepts, not haircuts so that our training can transcend any trend. Once I moved to Charlotte, I stayed with Aveda Salons for many years with no regrets, but it was time to move on.

I believe I finally found my stylist after searching for 6 years. Sue McConnell did an extended first time client consult where she actually listened to what I said. She was the first stylist who asked ME how I style my hair and actually styled it the same way I do. She taught me a couple styling tricks too. Sue is very easy to talk to and is a hoot. She's at Sun Valley Salon Suite, Suite 12. Go see her!
