After graduating from the Body Therapy Institute in 1996 for massage therapy, he went on to study neuromuscular therapy, and then received a multidisciplinary degree that combined athletic training and exercise sports science from Greensboro College in 2002.Rob received his Master's in Acupuncture from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2006.

Services
Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific points on the body, which have the ability to alter various biochemical and physiological conditions in order to achieve a healing effect in the body. It is not a cure-all or a "miracle" treatment, but works well alone or in combination with traditional western medicine.

I came into Rob's office with severe tennis elbow and golfer's elbow to the point where I couldn't use my arm for normal day to day anything. Within a few weeks I was able to regain full function and range of motion and gradually became completely pain-free. I was very skeptical about acupuncture but Rob works wonders, highly recommended!!

Rob Balkind is Top-Tier when it comes to dry needling. I was skeptical and scared of the process seeing i had never done dry needling before but once i walked in the office, the atmosphere of the office and the communication from Rob put me at ease and i was even able to pick my own music to hear during my appointment! I would highly recommend first timers here!

I've been going to see Rob for about a year and a half on and off for different issues. What really draws me to him is his knowledge and experience with muscle tissue and how to work through multiple injuries I've experienced through the years. His focus is not just putting a bandaid on your issue, he enjoys working on your issue and giving you exercises and stretches to help you in recovery. I absolutely recommend him.

Rob is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. I have had long term back pain and Rob provides lasting pain relief. His personality puts you at ease, which is very important. I have always come away from each session more informed and so pleased with my outcome. There is no one I would rather see than Rob, and I highly recommend ABR Acupuncture!!!!
