Post-surgical rehabilitation (including but not limited to rotator cuff repair, total hip and knee replacement, meniscus repair). Kristin has over 20 years of experience and brings her philosophy of patient care first to Harmony in Motion. She believes that most physical therapists do not have adequate therapy time with their patients and this can directly impact a patient's progress and healing.
Select services for children ages 4 and older including treatment of apraxia, phonological disorders and tongue thrust. Megan has over 20 years of experience and is committed to providing excellent patient-centered care. She develops individualized treatment plans together with her patients focusing on their goals.
LSVT BIG trains people with Parkinson disease (PD) to use their body more normally. People living with PD or other neurological conditions often move differently, with gestures and actions that become smaller and slower. They may have trouble with getting around, getting dressed and with other activities of daily living.
Megan Kane-Mangol, Speech-Language Pathologist, is pleased to offer SPEAK OUT!, a nationally recognized speech therapy program, to help individuals with Parkinson's regain and maintain effective communication. SPEAK OUT! places emphasis on speaking with intent and converting speech from an automatic function to an intentional act.

My husband and I both appreciated his experience with Megan after he had a stroke. Not only did she address his speech, but was very thorough in evaluating brain activity. He had a positive outcome, and we highly recommend Harmony in Morion.

My husband has a neurodegenerative condition which has led to many symptoms similar to Parkinson’s Disease, including a very weak voice and a significant swallowing disorder which causes coughing with beverages – a signal that some liquids were slipping into his windpipe and putting him at a high risk for developing pneumonia His ENT physician referred him to this service for speech therapy.
We were warmly received, thoroughly assessed and competently coached in techniques to strengthen both his swallowing and his voice. I had thought that his ability to be heard clearly was gone forever but

My ENT physician at Johns Hopkins recommended the vestibular.org site to locate a a qualified vestibular physical therapist closer to my home. I am so grateful I received therapy from Kris with the Epley Manuever for my benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) as I had marked improvement after only 2 sessions, and the vertigo has not recurred. Kris answered my questions, took time to explain the procedure, and provided written handouts on the procedure. She also shared exercises to improve balance, caused by a hearing loss in one ear. I would highly recommend her for physical therapy!

I brought my four-year-old to Harmony in Motion for speech therapy. Megan was absolutely amazing with my daughter! It was only a matter of two months before my daughter was able to correctly enunciate many sounds she had struggled with. Megan was patient with her and provided several age-appropriate methods of learning to keep my daughter engaged and excited to learn. I highly recommend Harmony in Motion for speech therapy!!!

Highly recommend Harmony in Motion exercise classes - the Vera Flow class is a fantastic way to help feel better! If you have sore and achy joints and muscles - Vera Flow stretches and helps tone muscles and joints. It helps eliminate stress and tension. Megan is an outstanding instructor - she goes at a pace that is easy to follow - she always incorporates options for each move/exercise - so you can do what is comfortable for you. She makes the class fun and enjoyable so you are motivated to go to class. I love the virtual classes that she offers - makes it easy and accessible from home - so no

My daughter was attending class prior to Covid ... when Megan started ZOOM she suggested I use Zoom to attend.
I must say at the beginning I was really glad NO ONE could see me! But now I am really able to participate in MOST all that we do! I just told Megan — I am not sure when my arms shrunk and my legs got so long .... but I can finally reach the top of my ankles. At the beginning I was lucky to reach to my knees.
I have HO on my left thigh ( increased calcium deposits) AND Piriformus syndrome on both butt cheeks...
I have not had a maximum flare up especially on the left side for the

I have participated in Megan’s Vera Flow class for several years. When in person classes were cancelled, we began meeting via zoom. I enjoy this form of exercise. Class starts off with a series of movements to songs and ends with a short period of meditation. Megan makes it easy to follow along, and the exercises provide a great stretch/range of motion of the whole body. Modifications are offered so this class is appropriate for any level of physical fitness.

Mrs. Megan Kane-Mangol, was my wife's speech therapist. Couldn't have had a more knowledgeable and caring person.
My wife is back to her normal self after having a mild stroke that caused her speech to be slured.
Megan's process help my wife immeasurably.
My wife and I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Harmony in Motion with Kristin Zwemer is the best physical therapy I can imagine. Unlike other local places where I have had therapy, Kristin sees me every time; there is no passing me off to various lesser-trained people, changing from visit to visit. She pays careful attention to my progress following knee revision surgery and adds exercises as I am ready. At therapy, in addition to checking on my progress while I am doing various exercises, she also massages my knee and leg, which I think is very helpful - and she is excellent at explaining why I am having pain or other issues at specific areas
