Greg - Thank you for your assistance. The service was seamless and much appreciated. It would be my absolute pleasure to recommend you to anyone for professional legal assistance! I hired Mr. Sronce to handle a very complicated Illinois Driver's License Reinstatement case. Mr. Sronce brought my issue to satisfactory conclusion, on time and within budget.
If you were arrested for DUI, you likely received a notice of a statutory summary suspension (SSS), meaning your license will be suspended automatically on the 46th day after the arrest or receiving notice. As stated above, a statutory summary suspension is effective the 46th day from the date you received notice and the SSS is separate from other criminal charges.
If you have been convicted of DUI your license will be revoked and you will be required to Petition Illinois' Secretary of State to Reinstate your drivers license. Below are the "nuts and bolts"of this process. Call today and Attorney Sronce will explain what needs to be done in order to for you to Petition for Reinstatement.
How long does a speeding ticket stay on my driving record? Moving violations such as speeding, disregarding a traffic control light, improper lane usage, etc. remain on a driver's record for four to five years from the date of conviction. If the ticket forms the basis for a suspension or revocation, the information will be carried on your driving record for a minimum of seven years from the date of reinstatement.
