Alex Julian Yoga
I am the President of WPI Toastmasters. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to making people better public speakers and leaders. Not many people are aware of the tremendous healing power of trees. This new style of Yoga connects you with Nature, and is an incredibly powerful meditative experience.

With all the chaos and stress of the artificial world, it is more vital than ever to connect with the peace of the natural world. Nature is the ultimate calming and healing force, as well as the foundational root system of good health. Many students benefit greatly from private instruction. Working with a Yoga teacher one-on-one is a powerful way to deepen your practice and experience accelerated personal growth.
Services
The mission of Alex Julian Yoga is to elevate, empower, and heal people physically, mentally, and emotionally through an updated system of Yoga. The macrocosm is a reflection of the microcosm. The external reality is a reflection of the internal condition. The visible dysfunction of the outer world is a reflection of the invisible internal chaos.
Tree Yoga is the practice of Yoga while connected to a tree. In a world that is becoming more and more virtual, it is vitally important to unplug from technology and plug into Nature. Most people are completely unaware of the significance of energetic health. Our energy is actually the foundation of our health.
Yoga is meant to be done outdoors whenever possible, and it is possible more often than you may think. Too many people spend too much time indoors these days. This is not natural, and this is not healthy. We need to get outside! You can definitely use a mat for Outdoor Yoga, however I recommend using a beach towel instead.
Many students benefit greatly from private instruction. They are able to receive more of the teacher's attention, and the session is completely tailored to meet the individual needs and wants of the student, as opposed to the collective needs and wants of the entire class. Attention is a powerful and valuable currency.
All athletes should practice some form of Yoga, and many already do. Professional athletes across all sports, along with countless collegiate and high school athletes, practice Yoga on a regular basis. They practice Yoga because it works. They feel better, and they play better. Athletes who practice Yoga feel more free with the body, and they experience greater freedom of the mind.

I highly recommend Alex’s yoga classes. Although I was initially self-conscious about trying yoga, Alex makes new students feel very welcome. He really cares about his students and is passionate about making every class a fantastic experience. This is evident in his tactful instruction for safe pose transitions as well as his helpful advice for modifications. He teaches the skills for not only how to practice yoga on the mat, but also off the mat.
Alex has a warm and humorous way of instructing, and you can expect to laugh and learn a lot. He also encourages his students to ask questions, dive

I have worked with several yoga studios and teachers all over New England and Alex’s classes by far have been the best overall experience. You never feel rushed going through different poses and exercises during the class because Alex took the time to explain the benefits of each pose. Most importantly Alex Julian’s yoga classes have helped me control my breathing and improve my flexibility. His passion for yoga and helping other people improve their health is inspiring. Definitely worth the experience!

Alex is a one of a kind yoga teacher. He has a wonderful, supportive, and welcoming/calming energy. He takes the time to understand and get to know each one of his students and empowers them through positivity and connection. I always look forward to any class he teaches because I know it will allow me to challenge myself in my own way and have fun! I sometimes drive over an hour from Boston to attend classes he is teaching! It’s worth it!

Alex Julian is hands down the best yoga instructor I've had the pleasure to work with myself. His ability to cue form and adjust exercises for each and every person is phenomenal. I also enjoy the mindful direction of class in each he puts a heavy emphasis on. Yoga with Alex isn't just about the exercise but also about creating a better version of yourself, inside and out!
