OMG!!!! I read the reviews about these guys NEVER returning phone calls and thought they were exaggerating. NO THEY WERE NOT!!!
Dropped off my mother-in-laws computer on 2/5/19 left at least 10+ messages between then and today 2/12/19 with NO CALL BACKS????
I just went to the house that David works out of and told Tony (older gentleman) and supposed "partner" I haven't heard from ANYONE regarding our computer repair. He invited me in, I pointed to my mother-in-laws computer laying on the floor

Just horrible , these other people aren’t lying . Had an issue with my MacBook Pro and Michael misdiagnosed it, charged me nearly $400. And it took 3 weeks to get the machine back. Only to tell me to take it to where I purchased it.. they don’t pick up, do yourself a favor and just take your MacBooks to apple or wherever u bought them..

If you can get them to answer the phone or respond to an email, they can probably sort out your computer. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to call you back. I got voicemail every time I called for a week. They don't respond to emails either. Over a week! Sorry I don't have time for lousy customer service. There must be thousands of other places I can go to get better service around Chicago. I give up. I'm going elsewhere. So much for a warranty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OUTFIT.

Repaired my 2011 iMac quickly and even saved me money on new RAM, which was the issue. Ran diagnostics and gave recommendations for dumping apps which don't work as well as developers say. All at a fair price. Was easy to locate and drop off and pick up flawless. Thanks to TPteQ, I'll be back!!

I dropped my MacBook Pro and thought the hard drive was toast. Haven't heard the greatest stories about the Genius Bar, and started searching the Web for a local repair shop. David kept in touch daily to let me know the progress of the work, and always promptly answered texts and phone calls. When David's data recovery efforts didn't pan out, he recommended a service he trusts, and they were able to recover almost all my data at a reasonable price. I dropped off my Dell Inspiron laptop to get a new hard drive put in. It took almost 2 weeks with almost no communication to let me know the status. After picking it up and $200.00 later it started making noise after about 3 weeks so I called and as usual no one answered or returned my call. A week later in the middle of a presentation it crashed so I called and of course got no answer and no return call. I took it elsewhere they told me the hard drive was bad and it was fixed in 1 day. I mailed the defective one back to TP asking for a refund for a defective hard drive or a least a reply and got

Let's just say UNIMPRESSED. He bad mouths things he doesn't know how to do. Not very professional in my opinion. It's not really what the customer wants, but more what he knows or is willing to do. Would not recommend. Took two trips for him to try and make this right and we are worse than before he came.

I have had TPteQ Inc twice now with my ASUS laptop, both for different reasons, and they have gone above and beyond all of my expectations. MY 2007 MACBOOK PRO IS ALIVE AND BACK. Thanks to Tony and Michael for a great job. Michael is knowledgable and honest and fixed a board that had totally messed up my computer. I recently had a problem with my computer that involved sending my Pavilion 20 from Texas to Chicago for Tony to repair it. Yes there are techs and businesses within a 20 mile area that could work on my computer. But, this is the second time I have had a computer have problems. What a great experience! Instead of buying a new computer I called TP Technologies to get their help reviving my old laptop. I am so glad I did. The computer went from being unusably slow to screaming fast. Years of junk and spyware were cleaned out and they confirmed the hardware was not the issue which was my original concern.

Best of all I did not have to buy a new computer and deal with transferring files, buying and loading needed software, setting up printers, networking and then after all that wondering what would work and what wouldn't work.

Got it back just a couple of days later and it does all that I need it to do and runs like a charm! Tony has been my go to computer guy for years now. He is very knowledgeable, highly dependable, and trustworthy. He has saved me a lot of time, trouble and money when things go wrong because the diagnostics he conducts are always spot on.
