Not sure what makes them think I'm "competition", but I brought in an MSI laptop that wasn't starting. I dropped it off for diagnostics, and never heard any update from them. I always had to call and check to see if there was any change. After almost a month, I came in and took my laptop back. I was told I was going to get a new laptop replaced, and that just never happened. Awful service.

Our laptop hard drive died. I brought it in, thinking i would have to get a new one. They explained that for a significantly cheaper cost than a new computer they could replace the hard drive . The turn around was quick, and the computer is like new. I am very happy with them and glad I have them a chance.

Amazing people. thank you Kyle, we are forever grateful. Our company was attacked by ransomware. The criminals asked for $300,000. The IT company we had tried for over a month and they couldn't get anything up and running again. The only choice they gave us was to start from scratch losing 18 years worth of data which would have literally caused us millions of dollars. My friend who is an executive at home depot recommended Kyle. SSZ showed up, 5 days later we are up with 85% of our data recovered, we lost less than 15% of our very old data but we are now up and running better than ever. I just

Was quick with performing diagnosis on my HP Z Book Station and finding the root causes to why my laptop wouldn’t power on (Off-brand laptop charger damaged my motherboard and battery when the voltage surged)
Friendly and great customer service. Prices were reasonable and they replaced my laptop with a faster Dell and installed a 512gb solid-state hard drive for much less than I expected.
CONS:
As a small business owner, I understand how hard it is to provide follow up and give correct information 100% of the time.
So I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
I would recommend them to others!

Great shop. Kyle fixed the broken screen on my Toshiba laptop. I came back a few weeks later and bought a used notebook for my niece. I paid $85 and she loves it check out the pic I included in this review. It is perfect for a 10 year old because it has linux instead of windows which means it is safer and has less issues with viruses. If you have a computer problem call or go see Kyle you will be glad you did.

I have brought my computers here numerous times for repairs or upgrades. Years ago upgraded my power supply here for my previous PC. Last year he was able to help me with a faulty video card by communicating with the company himself and working through the warranty process. Not to mention upgraded to much better fans for a fair price. Kyle is very patient and knowledgeable about PCs and I highly reccommend SSZ.

As someone who knows nothing about computers, Kyle can be completely relied upon in my opinion. My business suffered a crash on a Monday morning, the problem was diagnosed within an hour as promised and I had my tower back up and running before we opened the next day. He addresses your concerns directly with great communication and all services/prices are clearly defined before the work is completed. Can't recommend and thank him enough!

My dell R310 server raid drives failed. I called Dell support and they were very helpful but they could not fix the problem and suggested I find a local company. I am pretty savvy and I took it apart to try and fix it to no avail. I contacted more than 10 companies in the Chicago area and only this company were willing to try and save my data. Thanks to Kyle and his staff I was able to get the majority of my data back and they rebuilt my raid drives and set me up with a cloud backup with them for a very reasonable price. Excellent people, excellent service....... A++++++ Highly Recommended.

I brought my 4 year old gaming PC (desktop) in recently, because I spill a soda on it. It would not even turn on. SSZ was able to repair it and clean it out for a very good price. They even updated all the drivers of the new motherboard they installed and my PC works better than ever! The repairs were done in 2 business days. The staff was extremely nice and professional. I will definitely come back for any future computer repairs.
