I met Ashanta for the first time on the day before my wedding. I didn't know what to expect. She was amazing! She made me laugh, which made me comfortable and gave me a great impression of what was to come. She gave me an overview of what pictures she intended to take and then I was able to share my vision for the big day.

I am now interviewing couples for 2021 and 2022. As the head photographer, I only take on select clients each year. Your photographer is the vendor you spend the most time with on your wedding day, this fact alone makes it so important that we be a perfect fit for one another, before moving forward.
The whole point is to remember this: It is not my wedding, it is yours. Special moments happen whether you have a party of two or two thousand! Trust me, either way, it is going to be all about you and the love you both share and that is all that matters. PERIOD! Another moment that my clients love is the ENGAGEMENT SESSION.

The venue was The Collector's Room Charlotte, an art studio near downtown. The dream team of vendors brought the vision together flawlessly.

Ashanta is the best. She did the engagement and wedding photos for me and my wife. She is on top of her art. Shes really a awesome person and easy to work with. When the hair stylist didnt show up Courtney jumped in and did the brides and braidsmaids hair because they cared about trying to make the day awesome. They didnt have to but they did everything they could to make the day perfect. They are great people to work with.

Ashanta (or Shan as we know her) is absolutely AMAZING!!!! From the moment she responded to our inquiry (which was the very same day), she felt like family. We knew we had to have her. My husband and I just had our COVID wedding this past September, and every moment was captured so beautifully!
Shan’s communication throughout the entire process was impeccable, and so are her turnaround times. By the end of the weekend, she had already sent our sneak peeks. Our entire gallery was available within two weeks. Oh, we also purchased our wedding book through her…we LOVE it!

I planned a virtual wedding in 30 days, so I had a lot to do in a short time. At the last minute, a week before my wedding, I needed to change my photographer because I wanted to make sure I had great quality pictures. That’s was very important to me. Ashanta was referred to me on 12/25 and my wedding was on 1/2, she only had a week to prepare. From our first conversation, I knew she should have been my photographer from the start! I had a wonderful experience!
This is actually our second time getting photos from Shan , as she took photos to commemorate the 2nd birthday of our toddler.
We initially scheduled maternity photos however baby made an appearance before we had an opportunity to take them. Shan seemessly rescheduled my family for an in home newborn and family shoot where she arrived on time, with tons of equipment and was masked the duration of her visit for the safety of our new addition and family. Shan is professional, communicative and caring, and her work is stunning.

I can’t thank Ashanta enough for the amazing photos she captured during my daughter’s wedding ceremony. The photos are breathtaking and will serve as forever memories that can’t be replaced.
