We retained Jerry to assist us in purchasing a short sale home, and he was instrumental in helping us to smoothly navigate the process. There was a last minute demand from the seller for extra notarized documents from everyone involved, which could have pushed out our closing, but Jerry responded immediately and coordinated the effort to provide these documents. He is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him!

In addition to working with Jerry on several short-sale situations, I recently worked with Jerry on the sale of my personal home. Jerry was very responsive and provided critical advice and representation in a situation where we were working with a very difficult unresponsive attorney on the other side. Jerry's attention to detail provided us an upper hand in the negotiations as we were able to poke holes in the oppositions argument. Jerry was a pleasure to work with on my real estate transaction. Along the way I had few glitches and he went above and beyond to help me and stayed in communication with the sellers attorney as well as my realtor and lender. I hired Mr. Lazar in October of 2014 for my divorce. I paid him $2,700 for the retainer which he said was a reduced amount because the process was pretty straight forward. By February I was informed that he needed an additional $1200 to finalize the process or he would have to drop the case. Not at all understanding that money doesn't grow on trees. I tried to make payments, but money was tight obviously. I gave him everything I had.
