College Optical Express has been serving college campuses since 2000, when we opened our doors at the University of Central Florida. Services
We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed. On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy.
Had been without glass for a while now and was happy to find a very convenient optical place. Had got my glasses in the fall and still happy about them now. I wear them so frequently because sit so well on my face that I forget to take them off when I'm about to go to sleep. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough great things about this store. I have been coming here since 2004 for exams, contacts, glasses, sunglasses, everything. They caught when something was going on with my eyesight and made sure I saw the right specialist. They worked with the other office after my surgery to make sure all my instructions were clear. These people just want your money. You cant view glasses without being harassed, they mask "customer service" with the intent to grab your money. I sadly bought a pair of glasses from here with insurance and they told me multiple times that i can come back whenever for a FREE repair! I called this past week to let them know i would be coming for the free repair and they said there would be a $25 dollar charge. Very sad to falsely state "free repair, come whenever" and not honor the promise. The 5 star reviews on here are most likely employees and owners.

I really enjoy my experience at College Optical Express at UCF. I’ve been before to get glasses and they were extremely welcoming and conversational. They worked to meet my needs and wants; which is extremely important to me. Recently I visited the office to get my first contact lenses. I couldn’t believe that I haven’t known about this hidden gem all this time. What a wonderful staff! Each and everyone one of them treated me with the utmost care. My prescription was a little higher than what they have in stock but for most prescriptions you can get your new glasses same day! Their sales rep, Tony gave me so much knowledge about… my prescription and sold me on getting me a new pair of prescribed sunglasses too! They have great deals and take most insurances. 10/10 I would definitely recommend - AND they service you even if you aren’t a UCF Knight!

They charge too much. And quality bad. I bought a pair of glass, then a leg is broken. I took them back to them, they repaired my glass. And they charged 80 for repair fee. And everything there is not refundable. And I bought eye contacts, I felt they were too dry for me. I already told the doctor my eyes are dry, but he still choose a wrong one for me. I doubt his professions. I want to change my eye contacts. They told me that I need to do another eye exam, then they can change them. Since they don’t do refund, the only way I can do is another eye exam. And I have to pay for it, I paid another

This is the best place ever. The doctor was amazing and told me things that I should have been told since the first time I went for my exam at the other places. I am so glad now I can get all the exams done so that I won’t have to worry about anything. I went there to get my glasses adjusted there once. After that experience I'm fine with just letting them slip down my nose and having to push them up more often than usual. The whole time I was siting there while the guy (I don't remember his name) was adjusting my glasses, he was sitting there criticizing them and how they were "cheap". Since I moved to Orlando for ucf, this is where I go for my yearly eye exam, glasses and contacts. They offer a cheap price for eye exams. They always have such a great selection of frames to choose from! It was hard to pick because there was so many. I am absolutely in love with my clear, Versace eye glasses and have received so many compliments on them. I just recently went back for prescription sunglasses. They custom made me prescription lenses to fit these fancy Prada frames. The frames I chose were not designed to be made into sunglasses, they almost thought it couldn't be done. But

This was the worst experience I've ever had buying anything. I got my eyes checked there and it was okay, it was weird because they literally only asked can you see, yes or no as they are changing the lenses. The doctor didn't ask to read any lines while preforming the exam. Also they did not perform any further test that you would normally get at the eye doctor. People there are pushy. Don't buy anything from them they are scamming you and selling you cheap products go anywhere else. Lens crafters has a student sale at the begging of every school year buy from them they have never disappointed me. I tried to do something new that sounded like a good deal, but these people are scammers.

The quality of products here is not very good. When I headed up the place yesterday with the eyeglass that was frustrated in less than six month they get it and repair it instead of giving new one. But the repair does not lasted 10 minutes. When I come back them for asking warranty they told me you have to pay 20 box for ordering and shipping the same frame. If I would pay I would prefer buy new frame elsewhere.

This place has amazing customer service! I was supposed to receive a rebate for my contacts ordered through them from the contact company, and the contact company did not give me the full rebate, so Matthew at College Optical credited my account with money to purchase glasses. Dr. Jack Clark is absolutely the best eye doctor I have ever seen. He was my optometrist for many years before he moved to Florida. He gives the most thorough exam I've ever experienced, and he is extremely patient, honest and friendly. His prices were extremely fair also. If I could, I would fly to Florida just for an appointment with him! Yes, he's that good.

$79 exam for contacts and glasses is already a great deal but when you pair it with kind friendly knowledgable staff and a wide selection of designer frames then this place is just extraordinary. I will not hassle with any other optical place from now on. They really hooked me up no pressure to buy any add-ons or upgrades but a great staff member that helped me find the perfect pair of frames that matched my face and my eyebrows! I've been getting glasses/contacts since middle school so I've been to a lot of places and Ucf optical left me exceptionally pleased. My husband is coming here

Dr. John A. Clark is an amazing Optometrist. By far, the best eye exam I have ever had , with a complete workup including dilating the eyes to check for macular degeneration. It was also a good conversation as well.. The environment is clean and fresh, and you can't beat the price of $39 (untaxed) for glasses prescription and $79 (untaxed) for contacts and glasses prescription. I LOVE the team in this office. I was a student at UCF and based on a recommendation from another student decided to give College Optical Express a try. I was super annoyed with my previous eye center and in desperate need of a better facility. They people in this office were attentive and quick. Their contact prices are cheaper than 1-800-contacts. They offer student discounts on glasses. There is usually a deal always going on in the store. They gave me two deals: (1) free lenses with the purchase of any frames; and (2) $75 in rebates for a year supply of contacts. I ended up saving well

I love these people! They give UCF employees and students a great deal on just about everything and they are super nice to boot. I had my contact lens exam done and was not charged any extra due to my astigmatism (which other places are known to do). Prices are as good as it gets without insurance. You don't have to be a student at UCF to get access. They have prices for every wallet because of their wide selection.
