After obtaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, he completed an internship in periodontics with the U.S. Air Force in Washington D.C. He then received a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

My case was extremely complex and arduous due to my initial bite/smile pre-treatment, which required a surgical approach. I had been misdiagnosed by a previous dentist (make sure you pick a qualified doctor the first time) but luckily, I had a consultation with Dr. Boese Sr. and Dr. Lee Boese Jr. who explained my situation and the plan of action.
We kicked the treatment off and it was a long journey (not typical due to my complexity); but with each appointment and seeing the progress over time I knew I had made the right decision.

My journey was not an easy one. At 55 years old, I decided to research my options regarding braces. Dr. Boese worked closely with my dentist to develop a game plan because my case was a unique one. Three years later, I can honestly say that Dr. Boese did an AMAZING job! Taking into account the amount of work he had ahead of him and my level of apprehension, he made himself available to me 24 hours a day. Dr. Boese did a phenomenal job of explaining every step of the process, alleviating any concerns I may have had. The office staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Boese rocks

Hated this place and would never recommend anyone go here! I had my braces on for nearly 7 years and was told for the last 3 of those years that I was "so close" to getting them off. Such inefficient staff and the rudest receptionist. Even after braces, the post treatment was frustrating! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH BRACES!

I am very pleased with Dr. Lee Boese's safety and infection control upgrades implemented into his new office. As someone with a compromised immune system and dental assistant, the individual "bubbles" and aerosol oral suction machines are a game changer for me. Definitely recommend Dr. Boese and his staff as your orthodontist.

I live in Los Angeles. For 2 years, I searched for an orthodontist for my son. I went to 2 in Santa Monica and 1 in Pacific Palisades.
The doctor in Santa Monica, told me that he would have to wear two very painful ( yes he even said the word painful) brackets on his back molars, with rubber bands to move his jaw forward, before he could even put braces on.... at the time, my son was just about to turn 11 and had not even gotten his 12 year molars! The other very very well known doctor in Pacific Palisades whom "everyone, who is anyone" goes to...meaning every star and want to be star

I loved my experience with Dr. Boese. I started out in 2006 and got my braces off in 2009. (It would have been faster but I would always reschedule with them because I was active in sports). The staff was wonderful and I was always excited to go back in and see everyone. They have continued to help me as an adult with retainers when they break, and the orthodontists are wonderful. Because of the procedure I had done, I only have to wear a retainer once a month (if that).

I have been going to Dr. Boese for the last for 4+ years now. I hated my teeth in the beginning, never wanting to show my smile in photos. In just the few months of Dr. Boese putting on my braces I started to notice an incredible difference within my teeth. I now have my braces off and have been loving showing my new smile off!! Dr. Boese made the whole experience of having braces so wonderful. The whole staff is also incredibly welcoming and friendly. I also have cousins who go to Dr. Boese are loving their experience there. Dr. Boese's office is highly recommended! :)

As someone in the dental field I had 3 orthodontists in mind. Dr Boese office was the last office we went to for my daughter. First he actually looked in her mouth after taking a free X-ray and dental photos. He also spend over 30 minutes doing a consultation with us answering all my questions and making my daughter really excited about treatment. Dr Boese fee was very affordable the first Otho I went to for an exam was very high and the second one would not even let me see the doctor because I didn't have Ortho insurance. I highly recommend Dr Boese office and his staff, as a transfer patient from another local Orthodontic office I was surprised in the difference in the quality of materials and the attention to detail which was missing at the other office. First I did not even realize that the braces and all of the wires Dr Boese office used were made in the US while the old one 's I had which kept falling off and staining my teeth were made in China or some place overseas. I brought my daughter to Dr. Boese's office 3 years ago. I was very impressed with the initial consultation and professionalism of the staff. The staff are polite and always willing to help.
