Refractive surgery is any procedure that corrects visual acuity, with the objective of reducing or eliminating the need for glasses and contacts. Refractive surgery includes PRK and LASIK and is an elective surgical procedure. This means there is no medical condition or emergency condition requiring that you have refractive surgery.
As you did before your evaluation, stop wearing your contacts before surgery and switch to wearing your glasses full-time. Contact lenses change the shape of your cornea for up to several weeks after you've stopped using them depending on the type of contact lenses you wear. Not leaving your contact lenses out long enough for your cornea to assume its natural shape before surgery can have negative consequences.

I've had an amazing experience with this place!! I first went to TLC LASIK for a consultation and they quoted over $4100 while Clarkson LASIK has a flat rate of $3200 (with insurance). The front desk is extremely friendly and super easy to set up an appointment and I even scheduled the actual surgery while on the same call.
If you wear contacts, you must abstain from wearing them 1 week prior to the consultation. First, I went through a series of prelim tests with the nurse. Next, I was seen by Dr. Sarah Hubbard, who was super perky and most importantly very informative. This appointment took
