Our family loves Sensible Speech! One of my sons had speech therapy with Leisha for quite a while after a tongue tie revision and now he’s doing great with his speech. My youngest son is in the evaluation process and Leisha has been so incredibly helpful by listening to all my concerns and questions. She is patient, kind, and very knowledgeable about all things speech. I highly recommend Sensible Speech!

My two little boys saw Leisha for about a year and a half- she was so accommodating With us driving from out of town to the appointments. Especially during the pandemic, she was easy to work with if we had to change things to a zoom appointment and worked hard to keep my little boys involved and interested over the computer with fun and engaging activities!

At 2 years old I had my son's speech evaluated and he fell into the 6-12 month range. He soon started speech therapy at Sensible Rehab with Cori. He loved speech therapy and didn't even realize it was more than play, and I learned useful tools to continue progress at home. After 7 months of sessions my son is completely caught up for his age, talks nonstop, speaks sentences and is so much happier being able to communicate clearly! Our family is so grateful for the services we received here!

We’ve been going to Sensible Speech and seeing Leisha for about 1 1/2 yrs. Almost 2 yrs ago, my daughter 2 1/2 at the time, was diagnosed with low functioning autism. Among other delays, she was nonverbal. We were seeing a speech therapist at the hospital, who had pretty much given up on our sweet girl, and was trying to convince us, she would probably never talk, and trying to convince us to try and get insurance to get an iPad to help her communicate. Our daughter, was also having some pretty big meltdowns, involving self harm. Combine all that, with a lot of sensory overload from the hospital

I literally can not say enough good things about Leisha and her business, Sensible Speech-Language Pathology. They have changed our lives and given us tools to help our son gain confidence and communicate with his words. I LOVE them and give them a 27 star recommendation. (If you know me, this kind of praise is HARD to earn!) The office is very family friendly and everyone on staff greets you with a smile. Alyssa is amazing when it comes to knowing where things are at with insurance and what will be covered. She is so very helpful.

The folks at Sensible Speech are our heros. At our first appointment with Leisha she was able to immediately see that our two and a half year old had a tongue tie, something that we had been trying for his whole life to get validated by his other doctors. She got a referral to one of the leading tongue tie docs and less than a month later his tongue was released and we were back for follow ups with her. I cannot stress how much they have helped our family, we will forever be thankful.

My daughter looks forward to her weekly appointments at Sensible Speech. The therapists do an amazing job with her. I'm very impressed with the extra time they take to work with insurance as well as the research and training they do to specifically help my child! The gains she has made with her myofunctional therapy have been huge.

Let me just start out to say I could not be happier with the treatment the therapists at sensible speech have provided for my child. I have a son with a significant speech delay who has seen a number of other therapists for years without much improvement. After spending just a short time with Jessica and Leisha for the first time ever he was able to tell me he loved me. As a physician I have very high expectations for therapists and health care providers and they have exceeded all my hopes and dreams for treatment for my child. They both have excellent skills with children and I could not give

Jessica from Sensible Speech is so great. My daughter has an unusual delay and Jessica took time to research the best way to help her. My daughter has improved so much in just a few months strangers are able to understand her now. Jessica is also amazing when it comes to structure within the session. My daughter is easily distracted and LOVES to talk about random stuff. Jessica knows exactly how to make her focus and sit for 45 mins without a meltdown.
