Services
Eye Medics, established in 2005, is a professional eye center that provides eye care for Adults and Pediatrics. Our optometric physician (optometrist) is the first eye doctor in North Carolina to restore Post-LASIK sight using Ortho-K lenses. As a full-scope eye clinic, our pediatric (baby, infant, toddler, children, kids) eye specialist provides comprehensive children eye exams and nearsighted (myopia) control starting at six months of age.
Our optical shop is located adjacent from our waiting room within the same building. We carry a large selection of designer frames for adults and children. When you visit our optical shop, our highly trained staff will provide you with a personalized consultation while choosing your eyeglass frames and prescription lenses.
Below is a list of insurances in which we have a licensing agreement. If you do not see your particular insurance, please call us at 910-426-EYES (3937) and we will be glad to answer any questions that you may have regarding your benefits. Payment of non-insured services is expected at the time of visit.

It was such a wonderful experience to go to this eye care center. Dr. James was amazing! He treated my daughter and I like we were the only patients in the building, didn't rush us through our exam and explained everything very thoroughly. The checkout process was seamless and Rose was so kind and friendly. I will definitely keep using this practice. Our family highly recommends Dr. James and his staff at EyeMedics!!!

From the front desk to the doctors, this place is hands down amazing! The receptionist Rose is a delight and always a pleasure to see and chat to. Dr. Singletary is knowledgeable at his job and took the time to explain to me important issues that i was concerned about. Phenomenal facility and staff. This was my first visit and I wish I would have gone to Eye Medics Optometry sooner. The staff are all amazing, very attentive, and knowledge. My questions got answered before I could ask them due to them being very thorough. I felt as if I knew them personally for a long time. My entire family goes here and we love them. I highly recommend Eye Medics Optometry.

Visited Eye Medics for the first time this week and had an amazing experience! Scheduling the appointment and determining insurance coverage was easy and Rose at the front desk was so pleasant to work with. The appointments were on time and me and both my kids were seen promptly and efficiently. The doctor took plenty of time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this office and their care.

Took my 2 year old daughter in for her first eye exam and the provider she seen was amazing! He kept her engaged through out the whole visit, not once did she even get overwhelmed or cry. Made for a great visit. Can not recommend him enough.
