Joe Sandefur received his B.A. in English from Rollins College and his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. Joe is a former Assistant Solicitor with the 15th Judicial Circuit and practiced with a preeminent insurance defense law firm. Joe represented insureds in complex litigation matters including catastrophic personal injury and multi-party construction defect claims.

Joe and Martin proudly make contributions to The South Strand Helping Hands organization in South Carolina. The Helping Hands organization works to provide emergency aid to the individuals and families around the South Strand South Carolina area. The organization primarily provides emergency clothing, food, and financial assistance for basic needs.
Personal Injury: $3,000,000 settlement for our client who was rear-ended by a distracted driver going 50mph. Our client suffered spinal injury and required extensive surgery. I participated on a panel that analyzes and gives verdicts on actual local court cases. These panels' results are utilized by both sides in the upcoming civil trials to help design and streamline the attorneys' cases. I found the 2 hour session (paid) to be informative, sociologically intriguing and insightful as to what goes on in the Jury's chambers. Janet, our coordinator, and Joe and Martin, the attorneys were personable, patient, helpful and friendly. I totally recommend the experience. You get to meet new people too. Go for it!

I recently participated in a focus group at this law firm. We were able to meet both attorneys at the beginning. I found them to be very professional and down to earth. People like your neighbors or your friends who you implicitly trust from the start. With all the sketchy and distrustful advertising by injury lawyers all over the TV, I felt like after this meeting, these are guys I would use or recommend . I had the opportunity to participate in a virtual focus group with Joe & Martin Injury Attorneys and it was a wonderful and educational experience from start to finish. I would definitely do this again if the opportunity arose. The staff are all very kind and professional; Janet especially provided very good guidance about the event. It was interesting to be part of a focus group like this, which is an actual jury situation for a real civil lawsuit, or potential lawsuit. While recently participating in a research project conducted by the firm, I came to know the principals somewhat. They illustrated excellent knowledge of their field, but also did so while exhibiting strong ethics as well. These days those traits and attributes are not often found simultaneously!
