AA Animal Clinic was established in 1984. It is the oldest animal hospital in Debary; initially located in a store-front office on Saxon Blvd, then the current location on Enterprise Road was finished in 1986. In 1988 the cat boarding facility was opened. Dr. Sheffield, owner, is the Primary Clinician, this ensures continuity of case management.
It would be on rare occasion that you would see another veterinarian unfamiliar with your pet's condition. The clinic boasts a full service facility, complete with surveillance video for security purposes, parking is plentiful, with piped in music throughout the facility. Dr. Sheffield was born is Sanford Florida. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Florida. His undergraduate interests were Animal Science and Pharmacology. In 1982 Dr. Sheffield graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville Florida. Dr. Sheffield prides himself with keeping current, by attending conventions and maintaing an extensive library.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Including all of your pet's annual vaccinations. We recommend annual wellness exams, blood testing and vaccinations to keep your dog or cat healthy and to diagnose and treat problems before they become serious.

We rescued a kitten who was on the side of the road, and needed to see a vet ASAP. I called AA Animal Clinic and they were able to get the kitten seen right away. They took absolutely the best care of him and treated him amazingly. The poor baby had a whole list of things that needed help with, but thankfully AA Animal Clinic has amazing prices and we were able to pay for all the treatments the baby boy needed.
The vet, vet tech, and even receptionist were the kindest, sweetest people I have ever met at a vets office. Up front about everything, and straight to the point.

Thank you to the AA Animal Clinic for being amazing as always with our animals! Today was a trip to have Max’s, (our bearded dragon) nails trimmed, Katie was so patient and calm with Max and made sure to be gentle and she’s always so nice! Thank you also to the front desk for always giving advice and for always being so helpful on the phone as well! Love this place, won’t go anywhere else!!

The staff is always pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. Dr. Sheffield explains things in layman’s terms and very informative. It’s nice to have a vet that is open on a Saturday most in this area are Monday-Friday and there’s not always a Dr available

I was very impressed today. The office is very clean and neat and the staff were kind and helpful. Dr. Sheffield was kind and let me know up front what my treatment options were and the costs so I could make an informed decision. He took the time to instruct me on after care and how to administer Gypsy’s medicine so I could be sure to give her the correct dose. He listened to my concerns about her and made sure I understood my options. The office staff were great as well. I’m so glad I Dr. Sheffield because our former Vet retired. I would definitely recommend AA Animal Clinic .

It was such an outstanding first impression! The love and care these techs showed for my dog literally had my wife and i gazing at each other in awe. They gave such an immediate ease of relief for two pet parents, knowing our pup is in great hands. Prices are exceptional, treatment is out of this world. I couldn't ask for a better vet
