You're probably wondering what it's like to see a therapist if you are pursuing therapy for the first time. Or you might be entering into therapy after previous experiences with the process. Physical, emotional and environmental wellness all factor into one's mental health. Many issues can contribute to challenges with mental health including situational stressors such as loss, relationship conflicts, employment struggles and life transitions.
In addition to these stressors, some people struggle with issues from childhood or unhealthy patterns that sabotage their relationships. For many, there are also physical stressors such as chronic pain or a chemical imbalance.

Video therapy is providing the same therapy you would receive in a face-to-face session, but in a digital format using your phone, tablet or computer. You do not have to come down to the office. In the state of Hawaii, your insurance will cover telehealth and your copay will be the same as an in-office session.
Some people have a problem expressing their anger which can lead to problems. Some will react with hostility, rage, violence, or self-destructive behavior. This puts the person and anyone around them in potential danger. Releasing anger in this manner can cause you to hurt yourself or others, say or do things that cannot be taken back, or even get you into legal trouble.
