I met Dr Marvin Acklin after spending 5 years with another psychologist that was a waste of time. Initially warm and inviting, I was told I was acting like a “bonehead” about halfway through our second meeting. I was a bit turned off by this and considered not returning. Eventually I decided I would go again and I am glad that I did. Dr Acklin is not one to waste time or pander to make you feel better about yourself, however if you want to work on your problems and have them addressed then he is an excellent choice. He will also reinforce the good efforts that are being made, and brings a lot

Stay away from that guy!!! He is a well-known "player", convicted of violently choking his own wife. He got sued 7 times for malpractice and has several complaints filed at APA. However, if you are looking for a "professional" that accepts bribes to evaluate innocent and healthy people as dangerous, incoherent and/or psychotic in order to win a legal battle in Court, Mr. Acklin will be a perfect fit for you.
