Trumaker

My fiance received a gift card to Trumaker in March 2019 and has attempted to use the gift card and purchase shirts because he was measured by a Trumaker sales person in the past and NO ONE has returned his calls, emails, messages, etc. for months. It is very unclear if the Chicago location is closed or what is going on but to allow customers to purchase gift cards and then not allow them to use the gift cards is essentially stealing money from people and is therefore illegal. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. If the business is struggling or about to close

The single most absurd customer experience of my life. I could give the blow-by-blow but it would take me an hour to write it all out.

But, here's one little nugget - after 2 1/2 months of ridiculousness, my salesperson informed me on DECEMBER 19th that, "The shirt has left our factory in California and should arrive to you within a week." That's it. Nothing beyond that TEXT MESSAGE. No email confirmation. Zero. So...when I then asked for shipping/tracking information for my shirt (because I had to ASK for every single piece of information in order to get anything), she responded

I purchased my husband a gift certificate at Trumaker for his birthday. After 3 months of misinformation, ill communication, an incorrect order and erratic correspondence by the completely unprofessional "sales person" via text and emojis, two shirts have finally arrived.

What started out as a good experience became pretty much a nightmare. I would have to say enter at your own risk with this organization their customer service policies are negligent.

I was thrilled to get a custom fit for the first time, and I was told that the company would make any alterations necessary if needed. Bottom line is they did not deliver. Buyers beware!

To address the nonsensical response from trumaker,

1) I don't care what it was on your site, I didn't buy it off your site I bought it off of Aylah. I've actually never been to your website.

2) I don't care what your policy is. I never verified the address. Are you dumb enough to think I'd see an address that wasn't mine and be like "yeah, that's the ticket"

3) why would you ship back to the wrong address again? You ever hear the phrase insanity is doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result?

Ordered 3 suits ($3,000). All were delivered without belt loops. It took 3 weeks to drop off one suit because the "stylist" was unavailable. It has been 6 months and one of the three is still without belt loops and the inside of one of the jackets has loose thread and is coming undone..Terrible Service and Quality

Absolutely horrible pyramid scheme. I have tried over and over with them and they cant get it right, with 4 reps. They sell, sell, sell, with earplugs in. They just don't listen, or save measurements or anything but push product.

There is nothing like a custom shirt. I was looking for a shirt that was made for my body and the right look. Trumaker suited my needs and are accommodating

I love Trumaker. It has completely changed my style profile and totally revamped my wardrobe. And I owe it all to my AMAZING stylist Ashley. She makes it all so easy and makes sure I look great. I can't imagine getting my clothes any other way.

Awesome first experience at Trumaker. Cool showroom location overlooking the city. Chelsea Ingall called me and understood what I was looking for prior to my appointment, and then had everything ready for me when I arrived. Including an open bar. She really looked to assess my needs and guide me as to the differences between the variety shirts/pants.The shirts came in and fit perfect. Really enjoy the custom experience, and low key comfortable environment.

I've been really impressed with the quality and customer service from this company. I've been to the SF and CHI showrooms and both are pretty unique. You meet with your Outfitter, browse some items on display to give them a sense of your style, then they measure you and you look through fabric swatches. I started out with just a shirt and it fit perfectly. I ended up getting 6 more since they already had my fit on file. I also ordered an amazing Abruzo suit that fits like a glove. I worked with Nikki, Ashley and Kathryn and they were all so attentive and helpful. They weren't salsey

I started small with a few shirts when trumaker first launched a few years ago. With time I've built a part of my wardrobe with their off the rack khakis, belts, ties and my first custom suit. I've had custom suits made at other places in chicago and this is the best value I've come across. The custom suit is canvassed with great details like functioning sleeve buttons. Pricing is very reasonable given the quality and options for customizing the suit. My stylist Kathyrn is fun, has great suggestions and her multiple measurements were spot on. She is a pleasure to work with

Trumaker has been my go to for great clothes that actually fit. Given I'm not a typical body type, most off the rack shops simply don't work. Trumaker delivers the perfect fit every time. My outfitter, Ashley, keeps in touch with the latest styles and my preferences to keep the guess work out of looking great.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized shopping experience that continues to pay dividends in good compliments!

So far I've had nothing but great service from here. The suits and shirt I have are perfectly tailored. The staff has always been very polite, friendly, and professional; and have even gone above and beyond in delivering items, re-fitting, and the such.

Ordered pair of slacks ... not only were the wrong size, low quality fabric ... but were Made in China ... according to the tag sewn in the slacks ...

I specifically asked the Trumaker rep were the make their clothing ... she said, "San Francisco" ... so unless California just got sold to China ...

Every purchase I've made online, comes with a return sticker ... none was supplied with Trumaker ... when you go into their website ... and click on return info ... all you get is an email address ... which I used three times to get return information ... no response ...
