Kiddie Korral was started by the McGookey family in 1973 with one goal in mind - to provide area children with a safe, loving environment where they can grow and learn. Many of the children who now attend Kiddie Korral are third generation; their parents grew up with us and have now returned and entrusted us with their own children and grandchildren.

At Kiddie Korral, we recognize the importance of meeting the physical and emotional needs of our children. We hope to help them grow to be happy, secure and outgoing young people who are better individuals for having spent time with us.
Services
Kiddie Korral was established in 1973 by Doris and Harry McGookey as a family enterprise. Our original location, at 1535 Milan Road, opened in May of 1973 and served ten families. From the start, Kiddie Korral was unique in that it not only offered working families child care, but also offered preschool at no extra charge.
Each infant is provided with his/her own crib. Play time is designed for each infant according to his/her level of development. Individual development is furthered through the use of sensory motor materials, gross motor activities and manipulative equipment. We recognize the importance of reading to a child, even at this early age.

I went to pre-school there, the teachers were so nice and I enjoyed going there for school. (There were times I didn't even want to leave lol)
