Yvonne graduated Sinton High School and Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. She has worked extensively in the funeral industry since 1991. Yvonne was employed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer by Allison Funeral Services in Liberty, Texas, Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas and as Manager at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.
Yvonne is the daughter of the late Charlie Sr. and Guadalupe Adams Cantu. Yvonne and husband, Lee, have two daughters, Autumn Moran and Brittany Hickel. He was 54. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton. Buddy was formerly employed as a Welder's Helper. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew him. Preceding in death are his father: Jose Olbera; grandparents: Manuel and Dominga Perez; and grandfather: Leandro.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
