Our full-service veterinary team cares for a range of small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and beyond. Monmouth Small Animal Hospital was established in 1989 by Gregory Weech, who took an old Dairy Queen and converted it into a veterinary facility. In 1990, Geoffrey Weech graduated from the University of Illinois Veterinary School.
Once he graduated, Dr. Weech worked for his brother Greg until 1993, when Dr. Weech purchased the hospital from his brother. To ensure optimal safety of our patients and cover everything your pet needs, we offer a Co2 surgical laser, dedicated dental unit, therapy laser services, progesterone testing, ultrasound imaging, and more.

Dr.Weech and the staff at Monmouth Small Animal Hospital were awesome with our cat Leo. They were kind and compassionate. The staff was friendly and great with our beloved cat. I felt secure that Leo was well taken care of. Dr. Weech went above and beyond to help our cat and family. I would definitely recommend Monmouth Small Animal Hospital for your animal care.

I've been taking my babies there for more than 20 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. The Drs and staff are amazing. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and caring. The people and animals of Monmouth are very lucky to have them. It's awesome to have a group that actually cares about the well-being of their patients and the owners. May God bless you one and all.

Having 5 cats, we often visit these folks. We have no problem getting an appointment the within a day or two. The entire staff is so caring with our kitties and really do they best to make the visit as comfortable and quick as possible. Dr Weech is knowledgeable and is able to explain things so they are easy to understand. He's very honest and doesn't do unnecessary testing which helps save on the cost. I'd recommend this practice to everyone!
