The Dirty South is the 3rd addition to our family of restaurants in Southern Brazoria County. Our food: We're sticking with our homemade eclectic comfort cuisine roots and adding some depth with cast iron cooking, an array of hand cut steaks and butter! We use lots of butter. Cocktails: Nothing but fresh squeezed juice, house made syrups and liqueurs and quality spirits in our craft cocktails.

Waited an hour and only got my drink (unsweetened tea) my daughter ordered their kids PBJ and never received it either. We ended up leaving after asking the manager to check on our food due to the time we had been waiting and she never came back. This is now my 4th bad experience there in the time they’ve been open and each time was a different time of day spread significantly apart as well. It’s such a sad thing too because Angleton needs a place like this but clearly this just misses the mark are keeping customer happy.

I give them a 1 star due to the service by the bartender with long hair. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and to be honest should be fired. I brought a ton of business here and he needs to be trained on customer… service. For one, customers pay your paycheck. Without them you do t have a job so learn how to treat them and learn how to handle certain situations professional. Due to his unprofessional behavior we will never return which is sad because it was a cool little place but I refuse to help pay a paycheck for someone without customer service skills. Traditional country breakfast. I think the best thing that we ordered was the pancakes by far. Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Everything was good but the pancakes were exceptional. I think it's a nice venue for live music. But I wasn't able to stay for the evening. I saw some people next order the fried shrimp it looked super tasty. I would go back and try it again.

Dirty south for lunch doesn't care for the people who work. It took us 45 mins to get our order and it wasn't all correct. The wait staff was pleasant but couldn't take care of the demand and their tables. Last the tea was horrible it tasted like someone pissed in it was so strong that I asked for water. I don't really believe that the lunch staff cares very much for the customers and only worry about the night life. This is not a restaurant that you want to eat at it's a dive for the night life of Angleton. Drinks and bar food is all this place is good for.

Waitress did send our apps back.. because she didn't approve of them...alot of visiting in the kitchen...
if your more than 180lbs... AVOID the high chairs. ..you won't fit.

The food has been good from day one; the service finally matches the food. Service has been steadily improving, and Viviana was amazing today!
We love the Mac-n-cheese (by itself, covered in brisket, covered in hot chicken, etc) and the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. (Yes, they make their own tortillas) Tried the sweet potato pecan casserole for the first time today and it was awesome, as is the fried shrimp, corn brûlée, the smoked platter, and okay-we have liked everything we have tried. Also still love the decor - especially all the chandeliers.

Loved this place! The cheese curds were fabulous, my husband says they're very much like ones you'd get in Wisconsin. I had the brisket sloppy joe with their house made tator tots. The bartender was friendly and made a fantastic old fashioned. Ready to go back and see if it passes the consistency test.

Their food. Ha! Is delicious!! You have to try the BRISKET TAMALES! I would of given 5 stars but that was the only thing I was sadden about, no salsa to pour on my tamales. That's like peanut and no jelly. But beautiful place. Kick back. Service great. Manager walks around to make sure all is good. Really like this place. I

We've tried the place out twice and both times were a bust. For starters, we can't figure out the vibe - the guys behind the bar are dressed in suspenders and button ups while the hostesses and waitresses aren't concerned with covering up most of their body. That's all fine, but the service sucks. It takes FOREVER to get your order taken, only to come out wrong/cold. We ordered a drink from the bar and had to get up to go get our second one. They weren't busy so I'm not sure what the hold up was. Anyway, we won't waste our time going back. There's better

If I could put a title for this review, I would call it "Everything Covered in Cheese was Good." And that really holds true in my experience here. My parents and spouse went here with me, and we had a good experience overall. Service was excellent the entire time. We ordered three appetizers. We had the brisket tots--they were soooo good. We also had the fried green tomatoes, which were nice. And the lobster mac n cheese was AMAZING! For our entrees, we had a mixed bag. My hot chicken sandwich was fine.
