Raleigh F. Davis Sr., a tool & die maker from Akron, Ohio, founded Davis Tool & Die in 1951. In 1957, the name of the company changed to Davis Metal Stamping. What started as a tool & die making company evolved into DFW's most trusted source for metal stamping and metal fabrication. It has been our goal to provide our customers with high quality reasonably priced fabricated items for many years.

Davis Metal offers one of the largest, most diverse and affordable laser cutting services in Texas with 3 tube lasers and 4 flat sheet lasers. Our vast capabilities include cutting high tolerance parts to +/-.005 or Better. Our tube lasers have a 28' in and 24' out capacity up to 8.625 diameter.
DMS offers our customers the opportunity to use a variety of stock materials including but not limited to aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium and copper.These include using varying sheet sizes from 5' x 10' up to 78'' x 240'' allowing them to have larger runs cut at more affordable rates. The flat sheet lasers can cut thin shim stock all the way up to 1'' steel and stainless steel.

We run sheet-metal stamping dies in presses from 75 tons to 1000 tons. Smaller presses are available for secondary processes. Bed sizes run up to 132 with those presses being coil-fed for progressive die applications. Line dies can be run in all presses. Design and build of progressive die, line tooling and special forming processes is a standard offer.
Davis Metal Stamping has over 20 press brakes from 50-850 tons, 3 ft to 20 ft. We can form '' plate up to 20 ft in length. With the purchase of our new Bystronic Expert, DMS has the most advanced bending equipment at our disposal. Our advance software expert operator and brake set up personnel can put the most difficult bending in production.
