Services
Baldwin Metals is a custom metal fabrication company comprised of individuals with a passion for creating. On any given day we work with clients from a broad range of industries and help them transform their ideas and designs into functional reality. Based in Dallas, Texas our doors have been open since 1962.
Many of our finished products make a stop in the grinding and polishing department before delivery to ensure the ideal finish to our clients specifications. Depending on the design this may mean a quick touch up or in some instances more time intensive graining or polishing to create a mirror like finish on an art piece, food grade product or another piece that requires a perfect finish.
Baldwin Metals is a leading supplier of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) certified pressure vessels in the Dallas, Fort Worth - Texas area. ASME standards relate to the design, fabrication, inspection, testing and certification methods of pressure vessels manufacturing. Our pressure vessels are custom built to our clients specific requirements and are utilized in a variety of applications.
One of our specialties at Baldwin Metals is building custom metal cones (or concentric reducers as they are also known). These purpose built metal cones are utilized in a number of application in oil/gas, petroleum, energy industries along with other areas in which liquids are conveyed through pipes.
At Baldwin Metals we work with clients who use custom metal brackets. These metal brackets are as varied as their purpose. Our clients use the brackets to mount television, computer keyboards and other audio-visual equipment. Many of our clients employ us to build heavy duty brackets for carrying large equipment on trucks.

The rudest and most arrogant salesman I’ve encountered. I called to get information for three 7 ft planters and was ready to give the salesman dimensions. I just wanted to know 1. If they could do 1/4” inch steel instead of 1/8” as they advertise on their website; and 2. If he would tell me approximate price of those large planters. He said he couldn’t quote. He would not listen to me further and hung up on me. I’ve called other customer-made metal shops. They were much helpful and got my business.

Had a pair of custom made Corten planter boxes fabricated here for my business and they look fantastic.
The tolerances for my project were very precise and they were constructed to the exact dimensions so installation and fit was perfect, and I still managed to stay under budget.
Would certainly do business again for future projects and would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone needing metal work.

I cannot begin to express how pleased I am with the job that Michael Johnson and his team did at Baldwin Metals. They created a one of a kind metal candle holder from just my thoughts and a very poor hand sketch that I provided them. The candle holder was a very sentimental piece and it is something that my family will cherish forever. I cannot thank or recommended Baldwin Metals enough!

Have a 1950's modern rocker in stainless steel. The base broke and I thought I might have to throw it away as it came apart in 3 pieces. I found these very nice people at Baldwin Metals. They have been so wonderful to deal with-do not have the chair back BUT I am writing this because they are so nice I feel they deserve a great review. Brooke is great to talk with and her customer service skills are excellent. Scott is the gentleman who is the brains that is putting this really classic chair back together. He called to let me know they were working on it and they were going to fortify the base

I recently used baldwin metals to create several brass plaques for my family's business. They turned out fantastic!
