In 2020, the brick and mortar store closed its doors due to the sale of the entire block on Sunset Blvd. RMV continues to supply their customer base with unique vintage through online platforms and private appointments.

I love this store! The vintage selection is on point. You can tell the owner tries to find pieces in a variety of sizes, which is usually a problem in hunting for vintage. I also love that the price tags include some information on the piece, approximate time period and style etc. And the prices are totally reasonable!!!! I found some amazing dressing and sweaters and I just love this store!no

In early May (it is now September) my boyfriend ordered a ring from this shop and left a $20 deposit. The lady at the counter said it would take it two weeks. Two weeks had gone by so he called and they said they didn't have his ring. They said it would be another two weeks until the ring arrived. We wait 3 weeks after that and go in person to the store. The lady at the counter says she never ordered his ring, but they would order it and it would be there in two weeks. One of my favorite vintage stores in Los Angeles. Super sweet and creative, owner Mychelle has a knack for finding the finest vintage at reasonable prices. She also carries a handful of repro styles for curvier ladies and those who need to move a lot such as dancers/performers as true vintage can be fragile. I came into this store well over a year ago and the man working really rubbed me the wrong way and I never really went back until yesterday and was extremely pleased to be greeted by a wonderful gal named Miranda. I told her what I was looking for and she couldn't have been more helpful and fun. It ended up feeling like I was just hanging out with my girlfriend shopping, she created such a fun and pleasant atmosphere that I want to go back every week just to see her. And then of course the clothing is top notch. This will be my forever go-to store for unique vintage pieces. Love this store

Very cute, eclectic vintage shop in the heart of silver lake, on sunset.
It's small but they have a varied selection of tees, accessories and both men's and women's clothes.
Of course in a hipster town, except most of the prices to shock you. No, im not spending $42 for an old t-shirt!
However, I did faIl in love with these adorably funky broken porcelain doll heads in vintage tea cup planters. Sounds weird and they were, but also super cool!

Ummmmmmm, ridiculously yummy store. Everyone who works there is a gem...the owner, employees, and the seamstress who travels through is also a wonder.
This store has gorgeous, gorgeous finds...Women's and Men's clothing available. Although a small space, there is SO much to take in, and all of it is sooooooooo good!

What a great experience! Miranda helped my with the impossible picking out something for my wife! They have an amazing selection! Super interesting and unique items! Mychelle the owner was there and was so helpful and even told me not to get something and I'm glad I took her advice! She kept me from making a mistake!! Great music, selection overall amazing vibe! Pleased to see an unpretentious shop in this area of Silverlake! The guy behind the counter was welcoming, full of energy, and easy to talk to.
I was not very impressed by most of the clothes selection which seemed old/odd to me, specially considering the price: different strokes, different folks! However, I saw some nice pieces. I remember trying on a nice black kimono with gold patterns. They also had nice belts in excellent conditions. I ended up buying one, but if I had had the budget, I would have bought 3 of them! Another time maybe.
Going back? Why not!

This store is the jewel of Silverlake! It's like a step back in time and I've never seen such a unique collection of vintage clothing. They even have a section for men, which made my hubby happy while I shopped till I dropped. The girl who was helping me was very helpful and knew a ton about vintage clothes. I even liked the music that was playing! Oh, and two words for you... SALE RACK!!! Wow, I'm so glad I found Ragg Mop!!!

I don't know why even bother with the store every time I go in there I can't find anything and it all smells like moldy old closet. But today really took the cake. I asked The shop guy with White hair that I was looking for a dress. He asks "what size? " I said 12 or 14. He looks me up and down and says (with a scoff) "For you?" I replied yes. with a completely dismissive tone he says "Honey I hardly get anything in here over a size 6." Loud enough for all the patrons in the store to hear and and then he turned around and continue folding his clothes

Ragg Mopp predates the gentrification of Silverlake by many years. There's a very good reason that it has survived and thrived amidst a radical change in demographic. It is simply the best place to find treasured items. You WILL find that shirt or dress that you just can't live without here.
Mychelle has the best eye for unusual and quality garments and she offers only the best quality....no stained falling apart at the seams here!

Their women's pieces are all so lovely and moderately priced as well. Great dresses from 50s- 60s era and saw a few 40s flapper-type dresses too. Sooo many beautiful hats, brooches, dainty leather gloves, vintage jewelry-- they've got it all.
Vince, the owner, is super helpful and so friendly! He even stayed open past closing time while I looked for my Dapper Day dress. Such a nice dude.
Definitely coming back and hopefully next time I'll find something that fits!

I love this store!! Ragg Mopp Vintage is a gem. The selection of vintage clothes and accessories is marvelous. The owner (Mychelle..i think) is so sweet and she and the other owner (a gentleman) source all the clothes themselves. Both are extremely knowledgeable in what styles were worn per era. When I need something special I give them a call and items are pulled for me to try on when I arrive. I hear a lot of designers buy from Ragg Mopp for inspiration.

I had almost the same experience as "B.S."...I was told by the "owner?" that I wouldn't fit any of the dresses I gathered and would rip them trying to get them on. Seriously?...who does that? And even if it made no sense and there was no way he could have been able to tell what I would fit with all the winter layers I had on, it was humiliating. The ironic thing is that I buy and wear vintage dresses partially due to the fact that they tend to fit me so well. Go figure.

The woman who works there knows her stuff: your size, the stock, appropriate accessories, etc. The best part is that she pulled all the dresses that would work for me, saving an hour of my time. Or maybe the best part is that she gives a real opinion about what looks good and what doesn't.
I ended up with a flawless 40's beaded number that fits like a glove. Yay!
