Leivas Tax Wealth Management has deep roots in our Riverside community. In 1957, Richard Leivas started preparing tax returns for families in the community. At 13 years old, his daughter, Susie, started helping.
Over the next four decades, Susie and Richard became business partners and what started as a small family tax practice blossomed into an extensive firm offering a wide range of solutions, from tax planning, payroll, and bookkeeping, to investments*, insurance, and financial services*.Today, Richard has retired and is keeping busy with home projects and golfing while Susie leads the team.

At first, the initial consultation was wonderful and pleasant, But when it got to the work the outcome was a disappointment. We were not offered the advice we needed according to our business. We missed out on so many things we could have used, I feel we wasted so much time and money on these people who dio really have our back. Their payroll department was OK (even though when Covid hit they would not notify us about new deadlines and benefits we could have obtained when we needed them the most). The bookkeeping was a nightmare. And she seemed bother half the time we contacted her for questions

I would not recommend this place at all!! If you are a business owner with some complexity don’t go here…This office really didn’t even try to find ways to find us tax savings. They didn’t take advantage of quite a lot that we were eligible for. We really felt like we were put on the back burner with these guys. They do bookkeeping and say you need to get it but then they know nothing about what plan they need etc. I got the highest tier plan at their advice and come to find out it wasn’t even needed. Granted I wanted to try and help with it and they said nothing, no advice like, hey

Do NOT go to these people, they make mistakes then refuse to correct them. They did our payroll and made a mistake on filing one of our quarterly's. They refuse to correct and pay the penalty for their mistake leaving it for me to pay. Very unprofessional people.

I can say that Spencer was pleasant enough but I was not informed when making the appt that I would have a $39 fee taken out of my refund on top of their payment. I have gone to other preparers that will hold my check until my refund is deposited. When asked if I would be able to do this, they did inform me that the bank will pay them, Leivas, their fee automatically out of refund, yer nothing was said about the extra $39 fee. I feel this is not good business. Because of this, my state refund is basically going for the tax prep which I will have to pay taxes on next year again.
