Upper Cervical Chiropractic Spinal Correction: Dr. Hunt, Dr. Mayer, and Dr. Travis specialize in analyzing and correcting subluxations in the upper cervical spine, in particular the top vertebra (atlas). The sole purpose of this technique is to re-position the weight of the head over the center of the neck in order to remove spinal cord compression and restore body balance.
After Chiropractic adjustments resolved his multiple sinus and allergy problems in 1954, Dr. David Mayer dedicated the rest of his life to bringing relief to his patients. When I grasped THE BIG IDEA of what Chiropractic could do for me, I was driven to share it with everyone I met. This made living exciting, challenging, and meaningful.
With her high energy style she integrates deep tissue massage, trigger point and neuromuscular therapy to meet the needs of the patient. Kathie started working in the front office and then was drawn into massage therapy care for patients. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1990 and loves being part of the treatment team in caring for patients.
Debbie originally wanted to be a nurse. She spent 12 years working as a certified nursing assistant in Mease Dunedin Hospital, providing care for patients in almost every department. Debbie eventually transitioned into medical office assistance after the birth of her third child. Her career led her to a podiatrist's office and eventually into a family health care practice.
The Craniocervical Junction (CCJ) is the most complex joint region in the body. The CCJ is a collective term that refers to the occiput (posterior skull base), Atlas, Axis and supporting ligaments. It is a transitional zone between a mobile cranium and a relatively rigid spinal column. It encloses the soft tissue of the brainstem at the cervicomedullary junction (medulla, brainstem and spinal cord).

This would have been five stars, but for the clinic's policy of not having their employees or waiting room patients masked, at a time when Omicron is running rampant across Florida. This is really unbelievable malpractice on the part of a health care provider -- why should my immunocompromised mother need to risk dying of a dangerous upper respiratory infection just to get other medical treatment? Infuriating. Are the employees here even vaccinated? There's no way to know, but I'm skeptical given the fact that all employees seem to be pretending we're not in the middle of
