Dr. Staci L. Price-McCarthy is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated with her doctorate from Life Chiropractic College, Summa Cum Laude (in the top 5% of her class) in 1998. Routine chiropractic care can help you achieve a healthier lifestyle as well as provide relief from chronic and acute conditions exclusively or in conjunction with other medical disciplines.
Literally, Chiropractic means, "done by the hand." It is a method of healing based upon the understanding that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system, without the use of drugs or surgery. Doctors of Chiropractic (D.C.) specialize in locating and correcting a serious condition known as Vertebral Subluxation.
Dr. Price-McCarthy will obtain a complete case history and perform a thorough and complete physical examination. If necessary, additional diagnostic methods such as x-rays, MRI, EMI, SEMG and thermography will be used first to determine if chiropractic can help you and to then to guide Dr. Price-McCarthy in creating an individualized care program based upon the structure and health of your spine.
As I sit at my piano for hours on end, my back and shoulders are constantly tense, often causing me much discomfort, which results in my not producing as much as I would like to get done in one day. Ever since I started my chiropractic care with Dr. Price, I have been able to work longer and without any stiffness or pain.
