COMMUNICATION GOES A LONNNG WAY!
We took our Boston Whaler (that I just had to have) in to Sportsman Marine to sell it. We'd only had it a few months but rarely used it and we were leaving for 3 months so sadly, it was the best decision. It's a gorgeous boat with very few miles on it. The previous owner is a good friend and used it very little but took immaculate care of it so we bought it.
There were a couple of small issues on the boat, SM said they would repair it while there...AWESOME. Our main goal was to to sell it as quickly as we could and was told, (paraphrasing), "Oh there is a cult

After some months of research and looking around, my wife and I decided to purchase a new golf cart from Sportsman‘s Marine. Jason was our sales rep, and did a great job with the sales process, and even had the cart delivered to us. Unfortunately, after several weeks there was an issue with the cart and it was making a sound as if there was a problem with the motor. One of the associates (Erick)came to pick it up from her house and also dropped off a loaner so we would have a golf cart to use while ours was being serviced. Erick did a great job staying in touch with the progress of our cart repair

I think it matters greatly how a company treats their employees. I think it shows in their service. The owner does not know how to run a business. He was losing money so he fired great employee and hire someone else for cheaper. If you want the wrong parts ordered and put on your boat and then have to wait for them to order the right parts and possibly try and charge you, go to this place, they're for you.

SERVICE here is different there than the other dealers. You need your scheduled service performed? They have separate bay just for scheduled service type work so you don't have to wait weeks behind other boats that are getting repowered or more extensive work done. Call ahead for quick appointment and they guarantee "on time" scheduled service. They have even brought my boat to my house after oil change 1 hour drive away when I couldn't pick it up before they closed. I called a dealer closer to my house for service and they said it would be a 2 or 3 week wait because I have to get in line behind

I recently got a new number and since then, I get all kinds of text messages from DJ at Sportsman Marine. He sends me messages trying to sell me boat engines and things but I can assure you, I’ve never contacted this company in my life. I do not live in Alabama, I have NEVER owned a boat, and I am a college student with no budget to buy a boat or boating accessories. I have told DJ that I’m not interested and he must have the wrong number yet he continues to text me. There’s definitely some shady sales practices going on at this company.

They have serviced my Yamaha on a Capehorn and kept it running in top shape. The staff are very nice and treat you like family not just a customer. Hank will personally take the time out of his busy schedule to explain everything to you and to make sure you are in the best shape. Charles the mechanic does a great job. I recomend them for all your Yamaha service needs and any boating needs.

I bought my 1st boat from Sportsman's Marine. I was looking for a bay boat but did not really know what I needed. Out of all the boat dealers I met with Sportsman's was the only one that took the time to listen to what I was looking for. Scott (Salesperson) took the time to educate me on everything I needed to know and taught me things I did not even know I needed to consider. My overall experience was great and would recommend them to anyone.
