If I could give 0 stars I would! My mother called earlier today to make an appointment due to my dog having seizures, was told by the receptionist to just take my dog to the emergency clinic because the vet we normally see wasn’t in. Asked to see any vet at this point. The receptionist hesitated once she recognized our dogs name (we’ve been coming here many times throughout the last few months) and insisted on taking our dog to the emergency clinic since there were “no openings” today. We then asked to make an appointment the following day to see the vet and the receptionist continued to

If I could give this animal hospital 10 stars I would! I absolutely love this animal hospital, Dr. McCann, and Fran the vet technician. They have been the BEST people to work with for my 2 dogs, one medium, one large. They are SO amazing with my dogs and you can tell they really love each animal like their own. Dr. McCann knows more then I've ever imagined a vet would. She would tell us so much useful information I always knew I could count on her. I trust this hospital with my fur babies 100%. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Let me start by saying this is the first time I have taken the time to rate an establishment but I thought that this one was necessary.
After not having a great experience on our first visit to this Vet, I decided to give them a second chance. On my first visit a month ago I had an appointment for 10:00am. When I arrived 15 minutes early there was one other car in the lot and the door was locked, (I didn't realize they opened at 10am). I thought great, I would be the second person seen. It was 4pm on a Thursday, and for some reason, every Vet near me ( at least 7)was booked until next week or closed at 5pm, and all had average Google review ratings.
Islandia not only had exceptional ratings they were open until 7:30 pm! Islandia also had the first Vet that I had ever encountered that took as much time as I needed to thoroughly review all my concerns. Our Vet, Dr Juarez, spent 45 minutes, and was not only very knowledgeable, but exceptional on all levels. I would highly recommend you check them out if you were still searching for help for you pet.

My family and I had to make the unfortunate decision to put our 15-year-old pup down. It was an extremely hard & heart wrenching decision. We are so thankful and so grateful to have brought him to Dr. McCann. She was so kind, compassionate, and understanding through the entire process. I have never had a veterinarian with so much dedication to my beautiful fur baby! The doctor and the staff have been so helpful with my twelve-year-old cat. They've even gone out of their way before I was even a client in order to make sure my cat was well. I would give them extra stars if I could. Thank you!

They helped me with the birth of my dogs 3 puppies. I recommend them to everyone and anyone near. They show true care and compassion and allow you to make hard decisions. Sadly one of the puppies were a stillborn and the chances of the other two making it out were very slim but they worked their magic and I give them nothing but love. These two beautiful puppies are my life. Prices aren't too crazy as well which was a plus!
